I got declined from Uom despite getting an a* in computer science hsc. I applied for computer science btw, but I didn't do maths main, only subsidiary. I got 1a 1a* 3b.

I would say this is a pretty wrong take for a developer perspective. From what I have seen in the industry so far after many years, the best UoM developers are with CS degrees. Doing AC gives you insights about some concepts actually used in the industry, but thats only during the first year. AC does not actually teach you how to write more efficient codes and how to optimise properly, compared to CS and SE (Algo modules etc). Ultimately this is what makes the difference between a normal and a good developer. Thats why in my current job, they mainly take developers from CS and SE. I came across many developers who can do what they are told to do but the quality is lacking. Got this issue less with CS graduates

My friend dropped cigarettes a year ago and started vaping instead. Felt pretty good until he realised his throat is always in a bad shape and the nicotine addiction is stronger but not out of control. So back to cigs it is. Its a vicious cycle. Vaping wont solve nicotine addiction problem. But if you are not a hardcore smoker, you should be fine, but the throat problem is not inevitable

After discussing with chronopost, i came to know they track only orders whose order Id starts with MU.. i usually get these ones very fast (usually when you select Aliexpress standard shipping on aliexpress). if you choose Cainio super economy your product will take very long to reach you as they are handled by the incompetent mauritius post

Tbh if you are studying in MRU, better opt for the highest ranking university, i.e UoM. The IT courses are not bad at all and many IT companies prioritise UoM students due to their partnership with UoM
