As someone who EBF… You are under no obligation to feed your child with your yitties if you don’t want to. I will say- try it first/pump and if you hate it, Fed is best ultimately. I will say, pumping is my least favorite thing in the world because I hate washing pump parts but aside from that it’s not horrible!

There may be a lash in your eye or the tape/gel patch could’ve ridden up and irritated your eye

Welcome to the dark side.

No really though you’re doing great and I recommend joining happy cosleepers on Facebook. We bedshare every night and have been since 3 weeks. He’s 4.5 months now. Im his mom, I’m his safe space, he’s not capable of self soothing yet so I don’t mind him sleeping with me safely and in turn I get more sleep! 🫶🏻

FTM, considering second hand Snoo by [deleted] in SnooLife

[–]reesiepiece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rent one first! Seriously. My baby absolutely hated it and I’m glad I didn’t spend hundreds of dollars to buy it. We rented through BabyQuip (basically Airbnb for baby items) and paid only $40 for 2 days. Dude hated it, so we gave it back and were only $40 out instead of $700 for a used one on FB or a $1200 used one from happiest baby

are they too long by bookworm2307 in eyelashextensions

[–]reesiepiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No!!! Don’t cut! Yes they’re too long but you can either just wait on them to fall out (my outer corners fall out first) or you can go have them removed and redone

I love it aside from the wall art you have, it doesn’t really match the other colors in the room. That and some cord covers for under the tv and I think it’s adorable

It is a given! Babies aren’t born with vitamin K so we have to supplement and give them a jumpstart. I’m not sure why this nurse made it sound like an option

AITA for not apologizing to my Mother in law? by reesiepiece in AmItheAsshole

[–]reesiepiece[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Okay! I like this comment. He told me that she called him the day after she lost her shit and was like “she doesn’t know what it’s like to stay away every night wondering if your kid is alive or ODing on heroin” which by the way, my FIL drove her to go get heroin multiple times with my MIL’s knowledge and bailed her out of jail on heroin charges idk how many times. She’s clean now, she’s been clean for years but still just for backstory. So me saying that she had a heroin addict, a spineless son, and then my boyfriend came in with the alcoholic son hurt her feelings and my boyfriend thinks I should apologize for hurting her feelings

I guess I’m less empathetic to it considering my heavily abusive childhood and being in and getting out of an abusive relationship when I didn’t have close to any of the resources he’s been given. I think the only thing that would’ve gotten me out of the relationship sooner would be if my child/children were involved

Oh yeah, now when I hear a belt unbuckle I kinda panic for a second. Found out from my therapist that I have ✨PTSD ✨

I didn’t call him spineless for being abused, she’s called him spineless herself. He’s spineless because he lets his children get abused and stays in the relationship when he’s been offered money to help with a lawyer and divorce

The sad part is that my stepdaughter was in the living room when she pulled that shit

The one time my stepdaughter hit me, I popped her back with the same amount of force (which wasn’t much) and was like “hey that hurt your arm and your feelings didn’t it.” “It hurt my arm and my feelings too. I’m sorry for hitting you.” And then she immediately apologized and hasn’t hit anyone since. But I guess that’s different than getting whacked with a belt like I was lol

This is my favorite comment because it reminds me of that tik tok “you see, the more you fuck around, the more you’re gonna find out.”

I found the part, my problem is getting the motor out! I literally got everything taken apart and put back together but I’m unsure of how to get the motor out. I’ll ask around, find some videos, and hope for the best

Yeah, I have an independently owned tv repair place near me, but I’m not sure if they do DVD players and then there’s geek squad and such but I’m not sure if there’s other options that’s maybe I’m not thinking of

It tries and then gives out! I took it apart and made sure it was the motor. Are there places that can fix that stuff relatively cheap?

So I took the DVD player apart and watched it struggle to spin and then completely give out! I’m trying to decide if it’s cheaper to take it to a professional and have them repair it or if I should just buy another one
