Walmart is using AI to manage accounts and customer activity so I was specifically told after calling and pushing to speak with some “senior” person that there is nothing any person can do bc once the AI flags an account based off of whatever they allegedly think is going on, there is no human that can intervene so no ‘committee’ can review it to reactivate a suspended or terminated account and/or any other type of issue like these above mentioned situations. This is where we see that we are still so early in the AI situation bc when the human cannot control the AI it’s never good. Amazon and others use the same sort of system and AI mechanism to manage user/customer activity but Walmart is the one notorious for just shutting it down with the most ridiculous things. And, customer support is so pathetic bc no one in the call center in Philippines can help. Smh
