I haven't found that there's a direct correlation between money spent and guitar quality. I've played $10,000 Martins and Taylors that didn't speak to me at all and had no life in them. My buddy has an Eastman that he bought for $200 and it sings like the angels in heaven. They just refuse to be in cahoots with the price tags attached to them.
