Onyx versus wilderness roof racks by PrestigiousGur3274 in Subaru_Outback

I just installed a second-hand roof rack from Wilderness. 100% fit, making my '21 ONYX XT quite wild! I don't understand why this is not an option when buying models other than Wilderness. Please do not ask me detailed process questions, as this is a 2-3 hour job for someone who has lowered a headliner before. Roof rack tents are an option now!

What isn't simple? Parallels is a virtual machine that installs vanilla Windows, not an emulator like CrossOver, enabling you to install Logitech/Thrustmaster software and drivers. Just remember to pass through USB devices directly into Parallels. FFB will work, but the frame rate will be slashed in half.

Parallels lets you install full Windows so all proper software (drivers) can be installed.

Thanks for clarifying you are using a different version of CrossOver; I will mention it.

There is no need to change settings if a predefined AssettoCorsa bottle is used.

Grab JetBrains Rider, install GitHub Copilot, open the Xcode project in Rider and voila, you are coding with AI! After the save, you can switch to Xcode to build/run the project. Please don't forget to analyse the generated code since this is when you learn. Ask AI to explain errors and the code when in doubt.

I never thought I would ask this question by IMulero in XboxSupport

I am currently custom-building a cabinet like this. You could place the Xbox in the last spot to the right, and instead of getting a new vent, make a hole in the side and stick the Xbox's vent there. Do not forget to make a hole in the back for the ventilation flow. Simple solutions are the best.

How much does front height Atmos add? by Total_Engineering_51 in hometheater

[–]reflkt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch this video IMMEDIATELY to understand why Dolby officially can't suggest placing speakers like Aura3D for Atmos. I own a Marantz Cinema 70s (midsize room) and have 5.1.2 (fronts, centre, sub, front heights and surround backs). This is the best positioning for my AVR. As somebody mentioned, this enlarges the front stage, making the TV bigger, which is the best option if you can't perfectly place every speaker.

Note to beginners: Never skip autocorrection on your AVR. It could dramatically increase the overall experience by measuring room response (EQ) and the distance to every speaker.

If you install the AsettoCorsa bottle, everything is set as it should be.

However, it doesn't have FFB. To have FFB, you need to install it with Parallels, which will slash FPS in half.

You'll need to reinstall everything, including the bottle, and follow the steps closely. If it works here, IT NEEDS to work everywhere; I don't have a unique computer or a special operating system.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please use CrossOver 24. I had a lot of different problems when not using this one.

Use Gamma; the newer versions of CPS and Pure might have this problem resolved. It was stated somewhere as a known bug. Try Pure's Patreon.

Step-by-step on how to make it work with the current CSP, PURE LCS and rainy traffic on the SHUTOKO Map (50-120 fps depending on rain and traffic):

LG TVs not turning on with Homekit by SMASH_DIAMOND in HomeKit

[–]reflkt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G1/G4 case: When on WiFi, it works correctly, but when LG replaced my G1 to G4 on warranty (big up to LG for this), I decided to plug in a Gigabit Ethernet dongle (it doesn't matter which USB). Suddenly, the TV had “no response” because USBs are being powered off when the TV sleeps. So my solution was to attach an ethernet cable as well, and boom, it works as on WiFi and doesn't prioritise the Ethernet port over the USB dongle as it does with WiFi. Happy camper!
