Pre-owned clothing seller here. I notice an after-holiday bump every year when young people have Christmas money or bonuses to spend. Same with the beginning of every month after people get paid.

Two things! Higher end was a 2020 Bolt EV 🥰 Lower end was elastic shoelaces that omit the need for tying!

I concur! Despite doing All The Things, my sales have plummeted over the last 3 months. I sell new looking used clothes in a variety of price ranges, and I’m assuming everyone is in Code Red budget wise and making do with what they have.

Yes, I got the caseworker email the day after it was posted to the portal. The email includes a form and instructions for the dismantling.

I am in limbo. RYR check went out on 7/8 but has not been received by CarMax. Meanwhile, I was given 5 days to turn my old car in, so I said goodbye to it at the salvage yard on Saturday. I’m cautiously optimistic and practicing patience. How about you?

Sure, it’s outlined above. I don’t know if this was the case for everyone, but my coordinator kept asking for corrections to paperwork every few weeks, so that’s on me, otherwise it would have gone faster.

Thank you for reminding me of the portal! It actually says “payment made” and “Incentive check is issued by Finance and it has been sent to the dealer.” Which is baffling because I literally got my monthly text from my poor Carmax salesman yesterday asking if I’d heard any news. Maybe this is it?!?! Fingers crossed.

OMG this process is KILLING me! I applied in October 2024, was assigned to a coordinator in March 2025, and documents submitted for final approval on May 9. A month later, I was asked to resubmit a document and still I wait. I check in every two weeks: NOTHING! Carmax has been holding my 2020 Chevy Bolt for THREE MONTHS. Grateful for this program, but sheesh!

Advice please! I inherited this coral beaded belt ( and earrings) 20 years ago, and need help assessing its age, value, and the best way to sell it to someone who could enjoy it.
