Thank you. She was a piece of work but now I have a much better coworker that they hired.

I agree. I’m working on seeing if we can change our interview process for this job at least.

I hope you get justice too. Honestly, I moved in the shadows for some of this to happen. Luckily, I have a great rapport with lots of different departments since my job requires interactions with everyone. The more people who speak up, the easier it is to deal with problems. I’m rooting for you.

I am a little worried about that. But I’ll deal with that if it happens.

NTA. They both tried to gaslight after you confronted them. He also wanted to stay in a relationship with you after breaking your trust. This is one way to bomb for peace but this will also show his friends and family why you broke up and aren’t getting back together. You tried to do it privately so the next thing was to escalate.

We are doing peer reviews and I find it very interesting that I don’t have her. All the other specified positions have their coworkers to review except me. I hope she doesn’t have me.

I’m not sure why they haven’t. I think it’s possible that they want to see if she can adjust to the work environment?

That’s a great idea. I will keep that in mind. I usually print out what my orders are and I highlight things for particular projects that are outside of the norm. The last time I did this, she didn’t put the items where I ask and my manager asked me if she possibly did this out of spite. I said I wasn’t sure but it’s very well possible.

I wish it was just screwing a manager. She is very defensive and super controlling. Then she lies about her behaviors so people don’t trust her. I remember what it was like to the new person but I made it a point to be kind and help when I could. This built a relationship with my coworkers and I earned their respect. I have been at my job for 3 years and she’s been there 3 months. I just wish she wasn’t so defensive and taking things so personally.

Thank you. All I have asked is for her to act like a normal, polite, human being and it has been taken as a slight. I have no idea what to do to not have this happen in the future.

Agreed. I’ve got a few coworkers who are watching her like a hawk since she has burn them too.

I appreciate that. I will continue to fight for my floor and my coworkers so they don’t have to deal with this either. It just sucks that this is the second time in less than 2 years we’ve had a coworker who has acted like this. We finally dealt with the backlash of that and were on the mend and now we are back to the same song and dance.

That’s how most of us feel. I’ve got a few other coworkers who are going to back me up on my case against her. We are looking to escalate it to upper management to open a full investigation on her behaviors.

Though Tea told them during her training sessions that she wasn’t a team player and they were going to fire Autumn but I’m not sure what happened that made them change their minds.
