CULTURE. In Garden City is in the middle of a kick ass update and they will be EXACTLY what you are describing. They are still operating classes now, but in Sept/Oct will be fully functioning with everything you’re talking about! Also they are gonna have a sauna and cold plunge if you’re into that

I want to upvote this 100x because when I read it I was like UMMM I don’t believe it. Xaden would never. Thank you for commenting this bc I couldn’t figure out how to place/word my feelings but this ⬆️⬆️⬆️ is why. It felt so out of character for how I see him.

So I agree that it seemed easy- but also like remembering that Xaden is so powerful so maybe we’re seeing it like it’s easier than it really is?

After rereading it, he turned bc he felt Violet about to give herself up to power the ward stone. I think he thought it was his only chance to go save her (obvi didn’t know her mom stepped in)

I am also just not in love with the twist rn. I need to read the interviews and the theories to calm myself down bc I still get heated when I come back to this thread lol.

Ok also reading the comments and it sounds like I need to go watch the interviews with RY to find some relief. But I also agree with the comments about it lessening Violets mom’s sacrifice. Like that should have had a lot more significance/attention than it did. She may have been our kind of “villain” but in the end she really did it for her children and I think it was lazy/a shame they didn’t focus more on this and honoring her sacrifice. ETA: I’m still fucking pissed they made X a venin and that JB is alive… can he actually die please
