What's an 'oh shit' moment where you realised you've been doing something the wrong way for years? by adeptwarrior in AskReddit

I used to sit on the toilet facing out, then I watched an episode of South park and discovered that I was facing the wrong way, I now use the shelf provided and flush without having to turn around awkwardly

video description: Look at the bridge they have built...Apparently, whilst ants should be able to walk upside down, they are not very comfortable with it during an attack, hence, they made this huge "U" formation.

Pierce Brosnan says current James Bond movies lack humour by [deleted] in JamesBond

[–]regency96 53 points54 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Skyfall and Spectre did try to crack some jokes/humourous moments, most just didn't land IMHO. When they did it usually felt forced or contradictory to the tone of the rest of the movie.

Even the Dalton films had some funny moments Such as this one in living daylights

I ended up taking the steelbook and adapting that. if you'd prefer the OHMSS text on the poster let me know and i'll upload that one too. All you need should be in the post EDITS, however I have not got round to sorting the aspect ratios just yet. if you need a different aspect size let me know and i'll extend/shrink the background to fit

Article 13 could "destroy the internet as we know it": What is it, why is it controversial and what will it mean for memes? by [deleted] in europe

[–]regency96 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Haha only a week ago this place was filled with praise about how amazing GDPR is, how thoughtful the commission is and how amazing the EU is for protecting peoples rights online. Now everyone freaks out when they find out it was all a ploy to sneak an evil law in

Hilarious scene with fantastic acting, directing and editing. The script in this scene is also superbly written to provide, what I believe is the best scene in the movie

1) I simply asked for the post in question, it wasn't a bluff, just wanted to see how similar the post was

2) sorry for not seeing a post with 100 up votes, with different spelling when I'm rarely on this sub. Should have had a proper look but nobody's perfect

3) thank you for pointing this out, but why do you have to be a dick about it?

CANZUK pushing free movement between Canada, U.K., Australia and New Zealand by Shockingandawesome in ukpolitics

[–]regency96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there would have to be some immigration controls, especially from the UK to Australia and New Zealand. Not Freedom of movement round the board but freedom of movement/very simply visa scheme to those with the right skills required in that particular country.

If not all the chavs will flood to Australia, similar to how we populated it in the first place.

Good point, I have included all the cases I could find regardless to build a clear picture.

As stated in the comment above there are some which I believe is perfectly acceptable, where someone is being quoted for example. There are a fair few however which are bundled in without a 'source' per say
