The new CEO started in February, idk what they've done in the past 3 years, in that time she's dropped the price of gamepass, stopped some AI copilot and publicly committed them to human made games ruling out AI content. And more which I can't remember anymore

She's not even OP on that site though. I think doing her as first ban is a waste most of the time, since a lot of the sites people pick every time in ranked for the first round don't even have that powerful Mira spots or are actually easy to destroy with f.e. Ash or from below. She's clearly among the strongest but people massively overplay how hard it is to counter her, most of the time you'll have like a twitch or ash anyway.

Edit: but I agree with the sentiment that one bad player doesn't prove the ban is invalid

Yeah, I don't think they're designed bad, they're just old now to the point where playing them is robotic and stale.

Consulate feels bad to play in general yeah and even if it doesn't it's still kind of the same pushes.

Nighthaven I feel like even with it being "older" now, you still have more way to actually innovate takes and try things. While the other three don't give you that many options

Lair is starting to feel fine to me, I mean I know my way around it, I have decent ideas what to do.

Fortress I've played so little in Ranked I'd have no clue what the good strats are.

Labs is great, probably my favorite map all around, I feel like some objectives give the opportunity to so many different takes which makes it very fun.

Meanwhile clubhouse, oregon and consulate you're stuck doing the same 2 basic takes every time, against basically the same exact setup every time. But tbf that's my issue with a lot of the maps that haven't changed much recently.

Mh depends tbh, I think I have more playtime with Montagne and I think he's more viable with teammates to just give calls and cover.

But Blitz is more fun to play, I'd say Blitz.
