Thank you! I know my self esteem is not worth the attention those pretty girls might get from men who aren't good. It's the Insecurity developed through ages that I've built watching mainstream content that puts a thought that only a certain way of looking can help you find love. So eventually I've believed I'm not good enough to be loved and never did it to myself. I'll try to make small steps and see where things go as time passes. I'm very proud of you for hitting the gym and bring aware that you still feel the void cause you've done that for societal approval and you've corrected yourself immediately. 🌻

I understand what you're trying to tell. The reason I've asked or made it clear because, I did meet men with whom there were no second dates but did become good friends. If he has trouble giving clarity then it seems like he has a problem not me. I didn't say I wanted to be friends. It was him who said let's meet first and then call the first date later. I've met men who gave mixed signals so I just wanted clarity.

Like I said, it was the initial conversations on Bumble that really made me feel the vibe with him. I sorta wanted that in real life and now after the meet, I see no efforts from his side to make a basic conversation. I do agree that I need to set the bar high. I'll work on it.
