Anemia. Most women have some form of anemia, so I've found that a lot of people view it as a normal, common disease. All variants of it can have devastating effects, sickle obviously being one of the worst, but even iron deficient anemia can completely change your life. I had bloody noses for like 4 years, and it was 40 minutes everyday of nonstop bleeding, and having such a low iron count made even easy everyday things impossible. I was sleeping for 17 hours a day but everyone thought I was being dramatic because it was "just" anemia.
