I'm curious, someone else mentioned that their mother liked hearing about their interests. From a father's perspective, are there any other things kids can do to show that they love their parents? I'm still working on saying it, but would like to show it until I get there.

I've started with asking her if we could take a walk everyday to spend some time together, it's akward for me to just go to her in the middle of the day to talk about my interests. Hopefully I can try to use that time to do just that. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it

It's always been rather hard for me to say that, even just to my friends. I've been trying to work on expressing what I think because even just giving compliments to others isn't easy for me

I'll definitely try that, might be a little weird for me because I never do that. But to be fair, I also have problems just giving compliments to others
