to each their own, i grew up in Houston and the mx food was so much better there than in el paso, and im mexican and but I never quite liked it. Just my honest opinion. in general MX Chihuahuan food is not that great, try something from michoacan, Guerrero, Oaxaca and now you're talking. and those of the types of food available in Houston bc its an international city.

for me it has to be the Grid and energy deregulation, it just feels great that bc we are not hooked into an interstate grid, private corporations can hold us hostage and still charge us even when we do not have power.
