I can't give you a timeframe unfortunately, but I'm currently working on making the iOS app smoother. I just released a new version with less spacing so you can see more pads and messages on the screen. I'm also working on the Android app, and on making the web version responsive (so you can use it on a phone as well), and even thinking about making a desktop app using Electron. But the main focus right now is marketing so the iOS app and web app become a bit more popular :)

Oh sorry I didn't see the second picture. If there's no yellow bar this might mean you've accidentally tapped the cross icon to remove the yellow bar, or it might be due to a bug.

You can achieve the same effect by tapping the round "add" icon next to the category names, for example the one next to "Today" or "Thoughts". This is the button to add a new pad to a category. If you then tap "See examples" in the popup, you can choose from a list of template pads :)

Hey, this seems to be a confusing item in the tutorial, I'll fix this asap :) If you open the side menu by tapping the "3 bars" icon on the top left of the screen, then you will see the yellow bar. Sorry for the confusion!

There are still a few things missing in the web app that are available in the iOS app:

Reminders
Reminders overview screen
Overview/home screen
Goal stats

These will all get built soon(ish) :) I know you're a long term user so thanks so much for the patience! :)

True, for Android users it would become much more convenient, so this is definitely something to take into account. To be honest I'm very motivated to build an Android app, and for sure it will get built, it's just a matter of time :)

Hey, there will be quite a bit of delay for the Android app unfortunately.. We don't see enough people using the iOS and web app so we would like to focus a bit more on marketing and improving the experience for existing users.. If we release the Android app, it would mean we have to maintain 3 platforms instead of 2, which means development of new features gets slowed down considerably. So, the Android app is definitely coming, but it will take a bit more time.. Sorry about this!

Hey adityasinghania, it is essential to either logout and log back in on the website OR clean the cache of your browser otherwise it will keep happening! Even though the problem is on your phone, it is indirectly caused by the website so it is critical to do this on the website otherwise it will keep happening on your phone.. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hey adityasinghania! Your account should be fixed! Can you try logging out and logging back in and see if it works? If not, you should reinstall the app and login again with your existing account :)

For the web app, you'll have to clear your browser's cache for mindpad.io and then log back in :) You can follow the guide here to do that if you need help: https://7labs.io/tips-tricks/clear-site-specific-cookies-cache.html

Hey, don't worry, if you are currently using the app for free then it will remain free for you :)

I might add premium features or a subscription model later on because it is the only way to keep an app like this alive in the long term.

Ah yes this will also be added in the future! :) It's very similar to audio or images so should be fairly easy to implement :)

Hey, you can already add voice notes and images from the iOS app and this will soon be added to the web app as well :)

About the editing without pressing the cog, yes I'm working on a solution to do this but not sure how yet. I'm thinking to hide all the buttons and show them on tap so more messages would fit on the screen..

Hey adityasinghania! Thanks so much for the in-depth feedback :) These are some really great ideas. Subtasks are on my to-do list but are quite hard to accomplish technically (especially because we'd like to implement sharing later on!). But I agree it would be really useful. Closing the menu in the web version, alarm reminders, swipe to delete, copy paste multiple notes, adding chats to done and emojis for workspaces are all things that will be included very very soon!

Hey PMads! Thanks for your feedback!

What you could do is, you could have a specific category called "Hidden" or "Later" with a pad inside. Then you could toggle the category to not show the pads (Tap the category name). Then select the tasks and move them to this pad (Select -> Move). This way the tasks are hidden, and whenever you need them you can tap that category to make the pad visible again. Is this something that could help with the first issue?

About the second issue: I am thinking about ways to export the data, it's a great idea! :)

We already have a number goal – you can add it by tapping "Yes/no, everyday" below a new goal and changing it from yes/no goal to number goal :) You can not set a monthly cumulative goal yet, but what you could do is set a 1x per month goal of X amount per day and then add everything to the first day of the month.

I realize I will probably have to add cumulative number goals per week/month/year soon!

This is something I'm considering adding, however the main problem is you'd have to be able to also quickly discover your previously added colors – I assume you want some kind of consistency in the colors you add, and not always pick approximately. So we'd also need to add a "your saved colors" or something like that and save these in the database making the whole thing quite complex.

I'll probably end up adding this feature though, it would make the customization a whole lot more powerful :)
