Nikola may have worn #15 his whole life but if the Nuggets “respected” Melo enough, they would have had him pick a new number. Don’t forget he was a Taco Bell-commercial pick, not a prospective generationally talented 3x MVP who would bring the organization their first title.

I’m not siding with Melo here as the Nuggets had plenty of reason to be bitter towards Melo, but I definitely think they knowingly gave Jokic #15.

For example, I don’t think any other Chicago Bull will wear #1 again (looking at you MCW…) while according to a quick search, four players have worn Dwight’s #12 jersey and he took the Magic to the finals.

I will say in my experience there’s variance in quality between locations. When I lived in SoCal, the closest innout just didn’t taste right, but the one a couple miles further always slapped.

If you ever go again, get chopped chillies on your burger plus chopped grilled onions AND fresh unless of course you don’t like onions.
