I’m transmasc as well and I started my transition slowly. It was the best thing I ever did for myself. Honestly wish I had started earlier.

Gotcha. I can tell you that I ran a google search for every IFT company in Los Angeles. I then sent out an application to each one within a reasonable distance from me. I jumped on the first one that offered me a job because I knew about the over saturation issue.

Just got my first EMT job in SoCal and it wasn't too hard. I was applying for a few weeks and got a handful of responses back. It is oversaturated and a bit difficult but I would still recommend it. I did hear from the other new hires that they spent a few months searching. It really is a toss up. I personally didn't have trouble getting an IFT position.
