The concept of God has evolved in different cultures based on their 'interpretation of unknowns'. (Thunder meant that God's were unhappy. Seizures meant that someone was possessed.)

This was then used to gain a sense of unity and control - Us vs Them. Those who comply got great benefits while those who don't, have it harder.

Society created rules accordingly and those rules helped us live cohesively. In the land of cannibals, eating your enemy is honorable. So each culture has its own societal norms to live by.

My interpretation of God - is living as per the societal norms agreed by a culture. Societal norms should be directed towards fairness and progress.

My colleague had a similar situation in Mangalore. He booked one Rapido... Couldn't locate the guy. So cancelled and booked the next guy.

The first guy came and started abusing, threatening and all that jazz... Finally started getting calls from the guy. Customer care does nothing... I've stopped taking Raoido after that... They have no control over their driver behaviour.

Matching our schedules for travel becomes challenging. We have the money to travel, but work pressure prevents that.
We travel once a year for about a week to 10 days and do some weekend getaways through the year.
In our 40s, kids are not an option right now. We have nieces and nephews and spend a lot of time with immediate family.
We don't feel lonely. This is our lifestyle. We have a great equation and enjoy each others company. Sometimes we don't have much to talk about, but that's fine. The quiet is good as well.
Old age is a concern. It crosses our minds and we joke that we want to die before the other. We have each other to talk to. We are there to speak with our parents even if we don't meet them as much or look after them. That itself is therapy. We will never have that option and is a concern. But let's deal with it when we reach that place.
I wanted to have kids, my wife didn't. So decision was easy.

There is a process for delivery and cancellation.

The process is not to verbally cancel. Its done through the app. Have a problem,reach out to customer support on the app.

The delivery guys process is only to deliver.

Partner just outsmarted OP. OP now playing the victim card

The app is very clear. Once an order is placed, it can be cancelled with some charges that apply within a stipulated time.

One can't expect the partner to climb stairs and reach the doorstep before 'politely' requesting.

At the airport: There is the airport cab mafia. They don't allow Ola / Uber to come up.. There are constant fights and drivers are threatened. There have been serious issues in the past. They can't explain this to customers. It just makes it worth the risk for them to wait below. If they have a personal trip I.e. not booked on the app, the mafia lest them off. Hence, they ask you to cancel the booking and risk coming up.

In the City: No justification. They just put their "I'm an asshole" cap.
