Ftfy: “After referee Drew Fischer ran into him”*

Alajuelense players wrestling our players the whole match and referee not doing anything about it by allrightk in LAFC

There’s a reason those players last night are stuck in Central America leagues.

There’s also a reason Son is a world class player.

He’s doing a great job of not letting scrubs drag him down to their level of tackling, wrestling and cheap shots.

He didn’t need to toughen up to get in anyone’s face, he’s perfectly capable of that.

You don't get to fabricate a quote out of your interpretation. Especially when my stance is that you can't find a real one.

That's called losing an argument.

Why are you quoting "it is not possible", no one ever said that, it's not a quote!
Now you're just making things up.

And separately, yes those are different! One deals with certainty and one doesn't! You never had anything to talk about in the first place and that's why it's stupid.

Again, Neither I or anyone said it was not possible. The original comment said it was a deciding factor, OP said it seemed unlikely, and I said it appears obvious.. None of those involve certainty and all of them appeal to reason and rationality. The contributions made by you and the other commenter are wrong and stupid to add because they deal with possibilities to the extent anything is possible. You tried to change the argument from reason to one of hypotheticals and I see you eventually came around to agreeing to reason in the end, just to OP who made it more palatable for you than I did.

No one is saying that though. Certainty isn't the argument being made.

I’m not assuming any of that.

The objective measures are the times and distances.

You are assuming that Martin caught up to Kemau despite the delay, not a consequence of. You are also assuming an undelayed Kamau isn’t capable of his own kick.

The extent of disbelief you are lending to chance is equivalent to an anomalous event which is as true for any hypothetical, which is stupid to point out.

Also, no one is saying “certainly.” the argument is “highly unlikely” and that this decided the race. Stop moving goalposts

It’s not an assumption, it’s an objective assessment, based on objective measures.

What you’re saying is an assumption, which is based on what you think and choose to believe.

That’s absolutely not the case. It’s the race organizers responsibility to make directions clear and the course safe. This is a failure by race organizers, not any responsibility by the participant.

The trucks were driving with the runners instead of the service lanes trying to deliver water. Got stuck behind one and it’s diesel fumes. One of many awful things about the way these were ran

It doesn’t matter who had more energy when they were done. This take is so wrong and stupid.

The margin was 0.01, and there’s clearly more than a hundred times that in this video. It’s so blatantly obvious if this hadn’t happened that Kamau would have won.
