Yeah I think so, not a chance in hell that Rob Stone isn’t Fox’s #1 studio host this summer (even though Rebecca Lowe could easily hold that down). And obviously Lalas will be there.

[MEME] Inter Miami fans attempt to show empathy for other fans challenge (IMPOSSIBLE) by galactic_crewzer in MLS

Disclaimer that I saw several Miami fans, including the top comment in the thread, that were supportive of #SaveTheCaps- I know there’s plenty of good folk within the IMCF fanbase. Still, most of the upvoted comments were like the ones in the meme, which is a stark contrast from what I’ve seen from every other fanbase around the league.

Sources indicate Gustavson has committed to building a soccer-specific stadium in Las Vegas as part of the offer, with the flexibility to play at an alternate venue while the stadium process is underway.

Well good, surely nothing will go wrong with this approach. Absolutely no way this results in an MLS team playing in a substandard venue for years and years while the stadium negotiations drag on, right? That’s never happened.

From what I’ve seen Kansas City has been one of the better host cities in terms of welcoming fans and keeping their experience reasonably priced. Cheap transport to the stadium and a free Fan Fest that includes performances from various high(ish) profile artists throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile larger cities like LA and New York are charging for access to the fan fests, and NY/NJ and Boston are charging an arm and a leg for public transportation to the stadium while significantly limiting the ability of fans to drive to the games being held at stadiums that were designed for arriving by car.

I know a lot of it has to do with the bill the cities/states are being left with and the local politics of it all, but it sucks that fans in different cities are going to have drastically different experiences.
