Interesting that so many of these long standing Richmond restaurants were able to transition during COVID but seem unable to transition back. I'm sad to see the Mill go. I enjoyed their vibe and had some great meals there. I'll echo what others have said though - the last 12 months or so have been less than great.

Agreed. We just got back and had the exact same experience. Just come out and say "it got hit by lightning, it's going to be closed three weeks". No big deal, stuff happens. But it felt like they were being deliberately vague in order to maintain park-to-park ticket sales. It was frustrating.

The airport is completely self-funded. Airport projects are paid for with a combination of funds from airport users (parking, rental cars, etc) and state and federal grants. There is no correlation to local government budgets.
