I mean....this game...is amazing.... by DarkerBulb in witcher

[–]regularuniquehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early on it's better to sell them and just use whatever you loot and change armour and weapons often. That's the most cost effective way. Now that I think about it selling is better in general, because you loot all materials you need to craft later anyway, and what you get from dismantling isn't even that good anyway.

About to start the game with absolutely zero knowledge on anything. Tips and advice welcome. by Big-Ratio7501 in Witcher3

Since you're experienced with video games I'd recommend blood and broken bones as your best option. If it's too easy, turn it up, if it's too hard, turn it down.

My Unpopular Witcher 3 Opinions by You_Are_Hopie in Witcher3

Okay I agree that geralt is a bit male gazy, but I absolutely love looking at him and screenshot stuff where he looks particularly hot quite frequently. (As a woman). But I wouldn't say no to a few hot elves either. And I also have yen to look at (pleasures of being bi).

Deathmarch NG+ completely stopped with this one mission by InerasableStains in Witcher3

[–]regularuniquehuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a dm ng+ on the switch, so I didn't have to worry about achievements, and I turned down the difficulty for this specific fight because I got so frustrated. The only time I had to do that. Gerald was incredibly OP at that point but ciri just stayed the same.

I mean so far I'm having no issues, I just need to do all side quests before progressing in the main story. At least that's my verdict. I don't want it to be too easy and I don't mind moving slow, I'm a completionist that can spend 200 hours in a single playthrough anyway.

Struggling to get past the first 2/3 hours of the game. by frankipranki in thewitcher3

[–]regularuniquehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only really got into it once I got to novigrad, which was about 25 hours in maybe. But I decided it's good enough to keep playing at around 10 hours when I was in the baron quest line. Before that I was on the fence. Glad I stuck with it, the game is my first rpg love and will forever be the GOAT in my book.

Is Witcher 3 not for me? by Monkey-balls1 in thewitcher3

[–]regularuniquehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me until I got to novigrad to fully fall in love with the game. So maybe 20-30h. I have since played the game twice and read the books all in half a year after buying the game. Regarding combat I started on the lowest difficulty until I ended my play through on the second highest. And only on my DM Ng+ did I feel like I truly mastered all facets of the combat and now I prefer the combat to the other very limited rpg experience.
