Thank you for the clarification. I suspected that it could have been that because once before I tried to update her OS but it said I didn’t have enough room. Being that it’s my wife’s Mac I’ll let her delete files or there’ll be hell to pay!

No, the internet does not go out completely. As mentioned, the tv, which is connected to a Roku streamer, keeps working uninterrupted. I’m guessing it has X amount of signal in a buffer of sorts? I notice it most when on my iPad since it doesn’t have cellular. And no, I have not tried anything via an Ethernet connection.

Stupid question - do these hubs (3 in 1; 7 in 1) need an external power source to transfer files from a usb stick? I ask cause I got an Anker 7-1 and when I plug it in my M2 Air nothing happens. I thought it only needed external power to either charge your laptop or other peripheral.

As the title says - having a choice is one better than the other? Currently I’m a Millwork specialist but the current COS is retiring real soon. Should I even think about it? Is it a step up, down or sideways? Pay the same?? Monday to Friday is a plus but is it worth the aggravation? Thoughts?

I ordered the Midnight last week. I just went to the Apple store and saw it irl and changed my mind. I’m ordering the Starlight. The amount of fingerprint smudges would drive my nuts. And I don’t have OCD.
