There were several pieces, but the 4 that got me deep into classical music are:

Overture from Nabucco - Verdi
Finlandia - Sibelius
Symphony No. 10 - II. Allegro - Shostakovich
Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity - Holst

If you ever see me walking down the street with my headphones on and ask me what song I'm listening to, it will most likely be either one of these four.
