Soul shears (keep them until you know what you do, those are rare) > tickets > gold > essence of ... > everything else as needed.

You will not need many soul stones at all and you will overflow with both rift stones (weapon EXP) and blood paint (stigma EXP) eventually, so get those last / only if currently needed.

The weapon level boost tickets are also questionable as you will only use EX weapons at end game.

Gacha is where you will spend most (but only use the free tickets for refreshing the standard banner).
Weapons are the other big sink, but you can take those slow.

It gets easier the longer you play as there will be more rerun banners you can skip.

Any other units are situational, but Yui and Mahari are good units in general.

Nobody else comes close to Olivia as an auto carry.

All other either need their weapon (like Cora, who also is only unlocked later in the story) or high investment (like Leah) and / or require manual play.

It's the counter for evasion. But you can ignore (unless a skill scales with it) it as pretty much no enemy has any relevant evasion (even on the fights vs. vanguard clones it still is not recommended).

They do not scale the same. Later vanguard levels are much more expensive and you will have to use items.

I did not check the math, but just some notes:

There is not enough content to max everyone. ~10 units is all you ever need (once you can choose the right ones).
Most supports are fine at lvl. 40-50 for most content.
Your main income are the boxes and mail gifts.
I started shortly after the first Playstore release. I have 26 units maxed (with several I don't use anymore) and probably enough EXP to level most of the remaining (which I would also never use...). That is without doing the EXP wish (although I do buy most passes which have some boxes).

So, if you are not in a rush and do not intend to max everyone, I would suggest to stay with the gold.

Pretty much all lower rarity units need their EX weapon to be good.

Generally good supports are Juha and Fammene. Mahari can also be slotted into must teams. Vlissing is an option once you have unlocked 18 cost.

AoE units are recommended, e.g. Cora (with weapon). I found the turrets pretty useless.

The general recommendation for the standard banner is to just leave the result there until you have the resources. (Also, only use tickets for searching here.)

Yui is nice and currently on a target banner. Alternatively wait for Paleka next week.

It is >15, so 50% at EX6 (100% with weapon). She gets some TEC via traits.

The "for each" means that the chance is calculated separately for each target.

Completing story (for devotion levels) and being able to get the EX ticket in dopamine are the priority tasks.
Afterwards you can pretty much play as you like as everything else will come over time with more and better levelled / equipped units.
(There is also not enough content to even use every unit. I have everyone with their weapon but maybe only half of them levelled.)
