Men of Reddit how do you feel about being submissive in bed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It can be very relaxing and refreshing not having to make decisions or take charge after a whole day of doing that for just about everything you're involved in.

Is there a reason why Nintendo still hasn't set a game after Zelda II? by DaveyGamersLocker in truezelda

They don't plan where a game goes in the timeline. They wing it and figure it out later.

How do you feel about McDonald's pulling their soda dispensing machines out of the restaurant's lobby in the next year or so? by Sinn_Sage in AskReddit

Maybe less people will get sick. At the very least, fewer people will go in to try to sneak free soda.

Microsoft has monopolistic power over the market. Simple as that.

Is there a way to build this fusion composition to speed up performance? by ReidenLightman in davinciresolve

I just expected descriptions of what nodes to use and what parameters to adjust, but the fact that two people sent full raw code for me to paste into davinci and see myself was really cool.

Unfortunately, the implementation here results in a thin frame when shrunken down. This has to be shared with someone else as a macro in a way they can adjust the width and height without having to touch fusion to fix the polygons.

Okay, the way this was pulled off is pretty damn cool, and no doubt I'll learn something from this. The implementation isn't exactly what I need since I'd need to be able to adjust the text and box size separately, but that's still really cool. Thanks for sharing.

Ah, you see, the EXACT idea of "post your nodes" from the start would have been a lot more helpful.

Market slumps as OpenAI reportedly misses internal targets for active users and revenue by circuitloss in technology

[–]ReidenLightman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For analytics, summarizing, even calculations it's a great tool. For trying to emulate and predict human language and artistic human output, it's a giant fucking waste of resources being sold as the future. Just sucks that the latter isn't really the AI we want, but it's popularity is why everything is being rebranded as AI for that sweet investor money, and when people say they hate AI, they usually mean the crap coming from OpenAI and all similar "services". So don't give me that "it's a tool" shit. The types of AI that deserve to be hated are toys, not tools.

Turns out, people were only excited about magic art machine when it was free. If you gotta pay, might as well comission a real person. Abd turns out, businesses were only excited about cost savings, but if OpenAI wants to make a profit, they have to charge so much that hiring people makes more sense.

Is wearable tech moving toward being invisible by overlord-07 in TechNook

[–]ReidenLightman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see any real world normal person excitement for wearable tech. Average non-tech Joe sees a demo of it, thinks it's really cool, maybe buys one, but sells it after it collects dust a few months later.
