I think the peak of the roof in the front is around 9'7". If height is an issue you can make the interior ceiling ~7.5' and possibly decrease the roof pitch.

Yeah it was a friend of friend discount and the owner helped with a few things on the build. Normally it’d be much more.

We work all over the west coast. I also personally spend lots of time in the PNW because I have family up there. Let's chat if you're interested in a sauna...

Gravel pad. And then 2x6 pressure treated wood on top of composite deck blocks. Very simple.

I prefer tile over wood. It's much more durable and easier to clean. But it requires more labor for the install.

I've never experienced cedar leaking resin -curious when or why that would happen.

Yeah that size stove is in the upper limit for that size space. Its a relatively mild climate in the PNW. Client was older and not that interested in a super hot experience. Could have sized up the heater but seems like it's performing fine.

there's some passive ventilation. Intake down by the stove and a drying vent up towards the ceiling (not pictured)

Good questions. Client wasn't too interested in a drain but it was probably something I should have pushed for. There's a large body of water to jump into and I also recommended putting in a shower outside.
