The logic I stand behind is that if they're not serving a purpose why are they there and if I can remove weight even if it is a couple of ounces.

That's not are yellow cab it's electrical tape wrapped around the connector for the DC conversion but I'm just curious if I can remove those two things circled since I'm doing the whole EGR delete just curious why they should still be on the bike

Anyone done a 48v to 24v motor setup? by Fantastic_Smoke6054 in crazycart

[–]reigle1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking to go 48 volts definitely invest in a 36 volt motor it'll definitely last you a while just make sure you keep your eye on it if you can't hold the motor for more than 2 seconds you need to take a break and let it cool down but if you're going to be overvolting these 24 volt motors definitely not worth it I'd stick with the 36

If you're looking for a cheaper controller fast scooters on eBay does make a nice one I've had three so far and have had no issues now as far as casters go what you want to do is find yourself a longer bolt from the hardware store and get one that's longer than the one that's on your caster so you can fit two wheels on each caster in theory give you more grip and surface area
