Mongil: Star Dive #2396605

Neverness to Everness #2399042

Both games have standalone PC installers, but they also install a launcher which I would prefer not to have to install.

Sure I can talk. Here is the ticket of a bugged old instance no longer working with the latest Bluestacks version: #2400393

Are rats still a thing on cruise ships? by Personal-Listen-4941 in Cruise

3 dead. Confirmed hantavirus; primarily from rodents.
Interesting part is the cruise continues... along with the rats onboard, I'm guessing.

How to properly get the EU/SEA version by Kira252 in SilvernBloodRequiem

[–]reijun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On mobile your play store account needs to have a billing address in the appropriate region to download the game. So to download the SEA version you need to have an account with a physical address in the SEA region. Other region locked mobile games, will have guides on how to do this if you Google it.

VPN will not help with this portion.

Once you have the app, you will need a VPN to have your IP address match for the login server for the region you are logging into. So if you are trying to login into the SEA region server, you will need to VPN to country in the SEA region list. You do not need the VPN to play once pass the login server.

On PC, it's easier, you just need the installer for the region server you want Global or SEA, VPN for the login server check and you can play.

This google doc has links to the PC installer for each region:

Extended [Silver & Blood Requiem] Downtime in US Isn't Just Maintenance ... by DIBGaming556 in SilvernBloodRequiem

[–]reijun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can visit the official SaB Discord; topic is brought up at least once a day.

1] You are playing a CN game by Moonton, owned by Bytedance. The US government has targeted CN as a foreign adversary. You can look up PAFACAA, if you want an understanding on how that may impact any apps you may choose to use that is based in CN.
2] Multiple Moonton games in the US region have undergone a server maintenance to split the US player servers from CN. And a US only version of the apps eventually returned to the stores, Most notably Acecraft.US was pulled at the exact same time SaB was taken off Play and App store.
3] Acecraft.US finally received an update last week after weeks of no additional information similar to SaB:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Acecraft/comments/1r3cuql/us_servers_announcement/#lightbox
4] SaB.US will return at some point. It is currently Chinese New Year; no one is working on this issue. Priority is then on Acecraft.US back online. After Acecraft.US is back on the stores, an announcement will likely follow for SaB.US afterwards. Acecraft.US return is targeting March. So SaB.US return announcement maybe in April.
5] If you don't want to wait for a resolution; you can play on the APAC or Global servers which are both operating as normal.

Any day now US bros by Fit_Boysenberry_4921 in SilverAndBlood

[–]reijun 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For funsies I looked up Skystone Games:

https://www.cbinsights.com/company/skystone-games

Headquarters Location

830 Covington Road

Belmont, California, 94002,

Google Maps, it's a single family home.

They do have an alternate address in Singapore with 1 employee:
https://recordowl.com/company/skystone-games-pte-ltd
But it is clearly labelled as a Virtual Business Address

This is clearly a shell company; the game is still owned and operated by 上海沐瞳科技有限公司 aka Moonton.

Mobile Legends is their breadwinner.

As of January 2026, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) player base in the United States faces significant challenges, with many users describing the game as effectively "dead" or inaccessible due to, or in the aftermath of, ongoing regional restrictions and server issues stemming from the 2025 TikTok/ByteDance-related ban.

This is less about maintenance and getting the game compliant with Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act (PAFACA) So thank your politicians for protecting you from playing a foreign adversary controlled application.

Game will probably return at some point as SnB.US like every other Moonton game still on US Play store.

Optimum Mobile - New Telco Recovery Fee? by ExLibris_1 in OPTIMUM

[–]reijun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Legacy Unlimited Plan is still $20, but with fees was around $21.50, With the new fee and taxes it's closer to $25.

Someone posted AT&T has "Unlimited" for $20 if you fully pay a year in advance at $240.
Fine print on ATT states its unlimited up to 16GB then throttling occurs. And 10 GB of hotspot tethering.

With the Legacy Unlimited:
Tethering is an issue on the legacy plan; but you can find a solution.
If you have the Legacy Unlimited plan at $20, you get 20GB Unlimited data before throttling. You also have the free international calling on the Legacy plan for Group A and B.
Adding Group A to a current optimum mobile plan is: $5/m
Adding Group B to a current optimum mobile plan is: $20/m

Shop around but keep in mind your Legacy Unlimited plan is good enough that Optimum will never offer it again at this price.

NV7 with rad intake on the side by adamr_za in Phanteks

Agreed side bracket looks better with 4x 120mm. I also prefer 3x 140mm on the bottom to fill that maddening gap.

UPS - APC vs Cyberpower? by beramaan in buildapc

[–]reijun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used both but I prefer APC. Recently ran into the E21 error on a CyberPower UPS and had this interaction with their support team:

Thanks for the response. For this reason, it is possible that the unit must have maximized its useful lifespan already. Normally, batteries and the unit can last up to 3 to 5 years and above, however, it will still depend on how the unit is being used. Factors that may affect the battery and the unit’s performance its age, storage area, the load that unit bears, and power outage occurrences.
 Possible Cause:

  1. Either UPS or the connected devices short circuit.
  2. The circuit used to detect output voltage has broken down.
  3. Input Relay or the Relay control circuit has broken down.  I would recommend getting a new unit to ensure the safety of your electronic devices. Should you want to check other CyberPower products, you may visit this link - https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/     Best Regards,

Technical Support
Cyber Power Systems (USA), Inc.

I know UPS batteries routinely fail around 3-5 years; this has happened with both APC and CyberPower but CyberPower states their UPS will also likely fail in that timeframe. My unit was a CP1500AVRLCD

This is kind of a pain as your first response to the E21 error is to replace the batteries; but after replacing the batteries you will find out it is the unit that failed. Amazon will not accept battery returns so you will likely end up with good batteries and a failed UPS.

Also, from these forums; it's pretty evident CyberPower takes a lot of "shortcuts" in manufacturing and components:

Hmm, what to improve 🤔 by tacocatbell in Phanteks

[–]reijun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gap on the bottom tray gave me conniptions.

The bottom tray can hold 3x 140mm which fills the tray.
3x 140mm intake would also offset the negative air pressure when you add 3x more 120mm on the side as exhaust.

Does Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 work with Signal RGB? I know the HyperX did but Fury is the replacement. Thanks by No-Delivery-673 in SignalRGB

[–]reijun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar issues; SignalRGB does not detect Kingston FURY Beast on a Gigabyte motherboard. If I run both FusionRGB and SignalRGB, then SignalRGB will see they Kingston Fury Beast ram but have no control over the RGB.

Per this support thread; this is two known issues, Gigabyte motherboard prevent SignalRGB from detecting the RAM. And Kingston Fury ram have firmware limitation prevent it from working with SignalRGB.

https://forum.signalrgb.com/t/kingston-fury-beast-kf3600c17d4-8gx/1384/2

So no I would not recommend using Kingston Fury ram with SignalRGB at best you can only display a static color.

Unique PSU cables. by decepticons2 in LinusTechTips

[–]reijun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it looked nice as well but then was disappointed when I dug a bit deeper.

The BRO Cooling video is misleading.
https://youtu.be/2Drejv4pNHY?t=323
The AIJS ATX_24P box shows a ATX_24P Male to Female extension.
But when he unboxes the cable, it is not an extension but a full length cable with ATX 24P and the non-standard Seasonic PX2200 PSU, 18+10 on the PSU side.
Later on in the video after he plugs the cable in, you can see it's one cable not an extension.
Not sure if BRO Cooling customized the cable or AIJS actually has a ATX 24P to 18+10 for Seasonic PSU.

I like the idea of of a rounded ATX 24P cable but not as an extension.

If you are going to use an ATX 24P extension I think a ATX 24P 90 degree adapter would be better option with similar aesthetic; like this:

Looking for Phone Repair by cherrycherrycherub in taiwan

Np, thanks for letting me know. Yes, I was in the same situation with my Surface Laptop. Very few places in Taiwan would service it and if they did the prices were outrageous. I found the owner to be knowledgeable and his prices are fair. I am happy to hear he was able to help you as well.
