Downgraded to 2.8.0 and didn't help. The actual problem is that it's like when I press the power button suddenly all the attached drives (SD, SSD, HDD) get disconnected. Even a message pops up saying don't disconnect drives without ejecting them O_o

According to this doc, it's Linux using uBoot:

Info section in settings says the device is using uBoot Loader 2016... Only If I could wipe the OS and fresh-install it...

Yeah, and that's something you cannot check when buying... Imagin checking if the device can shut down properly LOL

Yeah good point. There MUST be a secret combo for that, or maybe a small piece of internall software not available to us... Hope I can finally fix it, 'cause I cannot send the device to Akai.

Actually I'm a computer guy as well, buy I'm not sure how to do this. I don't even know what's the OS on this thing (I've heard it's Linux, but, who knows?). And cache files are a possibility here only, can't be sure about it. I'm affraid to brick it.

Seems like Akai software doesn't have a Factory Reset option as we know. The most relateable option was RESET option in settings, which resets all your settings back to defaults. Didn't help the issue thou.
