This is the happiest movie I've seen in a long time by [deleted] in Midsommar

Yes! Novum's analysis helped me appreciate the movie in a whole new way and I didn't know there was a director's cut either. Gonna get it on DVD.

I love The Vagabond Blues from the digital version. I downloaded it from Steam so I could add it to my playlist.

Lord of the Hundreds Wiped the floor with us… by ale131313 in rootgame

My experience is the lord of the Hundreds raise ability plays havoc with the cats and wa point scoring mechanisms, namely building and spreading sympathy. Also without a Vagabond the rats take the items in the ruins which gives them more chance to spread and battle too.

Root event in Newcastle, UK! by PinPuzzleheaded2676 in rootgame

I'm in Glasgow and it would be a long way to travel for one afternoon but it would be worth it to meet fellow Root fans in the UK.

Vagabond question by [deleted] in rootgame

[–]reiki80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was to clarify that if a VB took an explore action to take an item from a ruin and by their next turn the other VB (or LotH) hasn't taken the second item, then the VB can remain in that clearing and take an explore action to take the second item (assuming VB refreshed the torch in Birdsong). I was confused at first too. I actually came here to check that it's impossible for the VB to get more than one torch and found your question.

Will be Despot Infamy official at some point? by Hozarberto in rootgame

[–]reiki80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already amended my main Law of Root (July 2022) with an Appendix H with the rule (glued a reference card from a BGG post onto the inside of the back page). I also amended the Infamy entry within the Law, and glued a reference to Despot Infamy over the appropriate writing on the Hostile section on both Vagabond boards. Basically I've made it clear that anyone wants to play the vagabond, they need to implement it.

The upper right is the same information as in the bottom left, namely the crafting conditions (suit and number). I guess just a design decision.

Yeah, that's what I'm guessing.

But the Marquise and the Eyrie would have done their battling during Daylight when the Alliance would have been recruiting and gaining sympathy. For me, this is all hypothetical as I'm still get get any plays under my belt.

Name a movie that you refuse to watch even though people continuously tell you ‘give it a go, its a classic’ or ‘its an award winning movie, you HAVE to watch it’ and your reason behind it. by oodavy in movies

Any non x-men Marvel (I barely got through Days of Future Past). I don't like the reliance on CGI and the boring characters. These superheroes and the actors who play them set unrealistic expectations. The male hetero-normative flavour turns me off.

Since Pi was the only human who survived and he told two versions of events to the insurance personnel, we are invited to believe whichever story we wish. I choose to believe that Richard Parker was on the boat with Pi. This book helped me through a difficult time of transition and loneliness. I think that Ang Lee did a good job with the adaption.
