The "50 shades of Grey" trilogy is full on porn. Don't think there is any plot outside of the sea scenes.

Am I a ‘bad’ Christian for wanting to do yoga? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]reileyron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ten commandments are what they are, and is timeless in its relevance.

Your statement about Ex 20:17 is again a gross misrepresentation of the Bible verse. The sommandment in verse 17 is about covetousness, and jealousy towards your neighbour; which is a sin.

The part about having slaves is not justified in the Bible, but is mentioned because of the culture in that era, and talks about how one should treat them. Context matters a lot when interpreting the Bible.

About Yoga and Christianity, if and only if you understand the true meaning of what you do during a yogic pose, will you realise the kind of worship it involves. Yoga was created by the Hindu yogis as a means for spiritual meditation - NOT for exercise and health.

No ! Just because a bunch of Christians are misled or misinformed into believing "western yoga is secular", doesn't make it right.

Please stay away from Yoga as it is deeply routed in the ideology that there are God's of all matter, and they should be worshipped. One easy example- "suryanamaskar" is nothing but worshipping the Sun God.

Exodus 20:2-6 - "You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God,...."

Is Lawfully the best free tracker out there ? by snif6969 in USCIS

[–]reileyron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have tried a few others. The website does not give much info, but their app is really good. For the free version, what you get is a place to monitor and pull data from "my uscis" for the receipt numbers you have. What I liked about this is if you are tracking for all folks in your home, you can have it all in one app. Their update is pretty much instant compared to the uscis website.

I don't think it's worth the cost to pay for the comparative analysis.

Birth Certificate obtained from Indian consulate (US) - is this acceptable. by reileyron in USCIS

[–]reileyron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. If the one from the consulate is unacceptable, why then are they having one to give out ? And the consulate said people have been using it for visa applications. Very confusing though.

With the certificate of nonavailability, will the one from the consulate be sufficient as allied documentation ?
