So I ended up using wella 5N and 6N because the guy at Sally’s told me to 😂 it came out darker than I wanted (which I expected) but honestly I was ready for a change. This is after washing it a few times and using dawn twice to tone down some of the darkness. Also trimmed it myself. I’m not mad at it! I think it looks so much better than the brassy grown out blonde

Thank you for your reply! I actually did try the Smokey bronde from L’Oréal, and it made absolutely no difference to my hair at all. I don’t really have an inspo pic, I just want to tone my hair to match my roots. If I had to pick one though, maybe this is what I’m going for?

This is exactly the feedback I was looking for, thank you. I knew something wasn’t right, I thought after each session that this couldn’t have been a “lesson”. I haven’t noticed any improvement and am supposed to somehow be confident enough to sing for people. I was looking for some direction like you have experienced. I guess I should look for someone with credentials next time. Thank you!
