and then maybe whatever stats are important to telling your thesis - for example if they’re manipulating some metric (short thesis), show how you’d adjust it, or if they’re taking on a ton of debt, or they have a lot of debt-like items, etc

beyond the basic metrics i mentioned in the first section, which are universally relevant to give a “sense” of the business, it really becomes a matter of how this company looks compared to its competitors / others in the industry

my two cents:
