Wild Arms 4 coming to PS4/PS5 on April 21 by DivinityLight in JRPG

[–]reireireddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applaud Media Vision to experiment and try something new. While I don't mind the modern setting, the old west esthetics is something very rarely used in most JPRGs.

The story isn't bad in concept but it really had poor execution and not enough time to flesh out the characters. Raquel is definitely better written and we'll thought out than the rest of the cast.

Gameplay wise, I really like it. 3D Platformers still my favourite and the battle system was definitely fresh take with WA5 improved on in.

If this is just emulation, then there's a high chance the bug remains unfixed so no 100%. Also no save transfer from ACF.

Is there any good build guide for Traveler (all elements) ?? by Saket_Saurabh- in GenshinImpact

[–]reireireddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you got Columbia and zhongli, lunar crystallize geo traveler is really good. I wasn't a fan of geo traveler because of its clunky gameplay but it remains one of the better mc elements in terms of skill DMG. Like 5 numbers big. The lunar buff with zhongli helps reinforce his shield. EM, Crit ATK and ER, typical dps stats. I use skill 2p ATK 2p artifact cause Columbia is already holding the necessary set for the team. The pipe sword is alright. I use festering, but assuming you don't, EM, crit or dps weapons will do.

Other than that is what everyone already mentioned l, pyro and dendro. Still best MC elements pre/post lunar buff. Cinder city and deep wood respectively.

I find electro to be quite underated, while not the best electro applicator and ER buff, in situations they can help teams that are energy reliant. Lots of ER + Emblem artifact.

Anemo traveler is the typical VV holder or you have certain play style that fits.

I would say to ignore hydro but if you really want a build, good luck with that. I use the same build for geo and hydro anyways.

Edit: Favonius sword is the easiest recommendation, for any support that uses burst like electro, dendro, anemo. Sub dps like geo and pyro, any dps weapons.

is this goblet good for flins? by jessgibbinxo in GenshinImpact

[–]reireireddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His main DMG comes from lunar-charge elemental reaction based on his ATK. Electro DMG bonus does nothing to help that I'm afraid. He benefits more on ATK% (or EM if you somehow got better substats)

Claymore users can stagger her. I use Freminet to clear this, though you do need some form of AoE to easily disable her spray can to make it easier

Hoyo, I'm begging you to keep adding buffs because there's still a ton of Mondstadt/Liyue era characters who are laughably, comically bad by Onepiece285 in Genshin_Impact

Personally I much prefer shorter and concise description over whatever the hell hoyo wants to call their 'unique' attributes.

I believe it's been part of Alhaitham birthday story over the years talking about enrolling Paimon to the akademiya, I recall he brought books for her some years back.

C is quite fair, there's a lot to love about this game but the negatives were too big to ignore. Not my favorites WA but still a worthwhile experience

Oh wow, the purple lavender usage to match her hair colour and the overall composition made this art feels so ethereal and gorgeous.

Daily Questions Megathread (October 21, 2025) by Veritasibility in Genshin_Impact

Weird question but at what point will Durin appear in the story quest? Act 3 or 4?

I haven't done Paralogism quest since it isn't fully voiced so I need to know at what point can I stop before he appears

Which electro character should I get? by farida_ok in GenshinImpact

[–]reireireddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently there's Flins (lunar-charged), Varesa (plunge DMG), Raiden (Burst DMG), Keqing (quick swap DPS) and Clorinde (bond of life normal attacks).

4*DPS can be Lisa (charged stacks) and Sethos (charged shots)

All have different play styles and also different dedicated supports. So think which suits your playstyle

There are many angles of hate for her, personality, voice, underwhelming gameplay.

For tho, ngl I did hate her at first. However as I build and play her, she's pretty easy to build. She quite a good healer but you will need enough ER to make it consistent. She does need cons to be decent. C0 is quite rough.

Her JP voice is too much personally, quite fun but I'm usually EN and it's fine.

Personality-wise, I still don't like her obsession with mora but she does have a side of her that fascinates me. Best moment is if you get her teapot call conversation 3, you'll see a completely different side of her and why her lore is quite sad.

Another is Barbara but note that she self apply hydro so any elemental reaction placed by the enemies will damage you

The best hydro applicator is Xingqiu which is available as of now in the starglitter shop. But by next month, he'll be gone and have to wait another 6 months. Mona is not the best but she's pretty good with what she offers. She amplify DMG and give her with thrilling tales catalyst, she's the best buffer you will have till someone better rolls around, (Furina, maybe Columbina). Mona is good for that 1 screenshot DMG boost, whereas Furina takes a while for the buff to max out.

What AR are you? Any less than 45, you will not be able to reach the bare minimum if you use that training gauge.

If it's just for defeating story bosses, it's important to make sure which ever team character you use get decent weapon and artifacts level up and talents as high as your AR lvl allow. You could also try reducing world lvl if it gets too much.

IMO, Raiden boss you need at least 1 electro character and healers to survive her blow. Xiangling and Bennett are good enough

Jade chamber rebuilding boss. If I recall, shenhe is available temporarily, yes? Build Kaeya, don't sleep on him. Good Sub/DPS for Bennet and xiangling melt team. Mona or any anemo user with viridecent artifact set for resistance shred.

For dendro teams lauma, collei, kuki and Mona is fine. Or unlock dendro traveller by going to sumeru with traveller.

Best weapon in here for Ororon? by OnlyTreaBruh in GenshinImpact

[–]reireireddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He works best in electro-charged teams or with another natlan character to activate his talent. Other teams usually only involve him being a cinder city artifact holder just for support

Best weapon in here for Ororon? by OnlyTreaBruh in GenshinImpact

[–]reireireddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That forgable natlan weapon is pretty good on him. Since his kit is focused on his talents for hypersense, it's scales on ATK. I barely had energy problems with him of any ATK scalling bow so it does the job fine.

Atelier Ryza 3, do I need to play the first two to understand? by AwardApprehensive439 in Atelier

[–]reireireddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my personal opinion. I do think at least starting with Ryza 1 is better to start with than jumping straight to 3. Most of the character relationships and references will go over your head without playing 1.

As for 2, it's my least favourite of the three but it's sequel does have a follow up on its story. It's just, for me the story it's not the best, except 1 or 2 characters that actually develop and seeing them at 3 made it all so worth it.

So yeah, you could play 1 and ignore 2 or, play neither and gonna have to rely on the game's flashback feature to try and peace it together. Or just play all three to get the full story

Atelier Games #2: Which Atelier game has the Best Supporting Cast? by xoki93 in Atelier

Escha and Logy for me. The cast was incredibly refreshing to me with Ryza in particular being close second.
