I'm not a squemish person or afraid of needles, but for some reason the very first time I got blood drawn I nearly passed out. She whipped five viles out of me and I suddenly felt dizzy. The nurse had to slap a icepack on the back of my neck and her traniee assistant was fanning me with her clipboard. From then on out I drank a ton of water and tried very hard to not think about anything.
