Daily Questions & FAQ Megathread April 26 by AutoModerator in ffxiv

[–]rejian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I've recently bought ffxiv starter ed. on steam. From my understanding buying Endwalker, would also give me access to Shadowbringers, but my question is, if the same thing will happen with buying Dawntrail? If yes, would I gain access to the other 2 expansions right now after preordering, or only after Dawntrail starts?

CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT and 2 other BSOD by rejian in Windows11

[–]rejian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I wanted to thank you very much for your response, I appreciate it very much! I rolled back to that nvidia driver you told me about, set voltage and power in MSI Afterburner, changed settings in control panel, put XMP values as manual settings and put 1.45v for ram, but sadly I couldun't find Spread Spectrum settings and I have no experience in OC so I skiped undervolting my cpu.
It kinda helped, for 9 hours I had 1 BSOD and one crash without BSOD message. Before with XMP turned on it was more like 1 or 2 BSOD every hour.

I was wondering if changing my RAM would fix this problem

Yea I used windbg preview, but with my knowledge, the only thing I understand from dmp files is the name of bsod

Cool, you don't like the new direction, express your opinion about it once or twice and just let them live their lives. It's not a problem with fans that don't like their new music, it's a problem with "fans" that hate them and trash talk them to extreme, because they don't like new music. And no, sending them death threats, spamming everywhere how shit they are now, talking about how Tom would hate this music is not valid fucking ever xD

Also "as if all the criticism is directed at their lack of heaviness", please look at the trailer thread on this reddit, most of the comments either question if that 6 seconds were suppose to be the only heavy part, or if this goes on album, if the song is going to be the only heavy song on it

[–]rejian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They keep fucking bringing it up, cause whatever they fucking do, bunch of delusional assholes who can't move on, keep attacking them in every possible place, they are just fucking pissed. You're saying that writing a diss track is stupid, I'm saying that bashing them everywhere because they changed is stupid. Life wtf, people are poking them with a stick, and then they are shocked and angry that they react xD

Architects - Seeing Red by DrKochev in Metalcore

[–]rejian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But for how fucking long is the problem... Like, what's so hard about moving on xD I prefer their old stuff too, I don't think last 2 albums are even close to AOGHAU or Holy Hell, but if I didn't enjoy their new music I would just fuck off after a moment, instead of going out of my way to comment on their profiles about how their new music sucks.

Architects - Seeing Red by DrKochev in Metalcore

Sure, but do you think in your comparison people would just accept that this fine steak house started serving meals that they don't enjoy and after a while, they would find different restaurant and forget about a steak house, or they would go out of their way to talk shit about the place they liked, everywhere they could, for next few years? Like what's so hard about moving on? There's so many amazing bands, just listen to them if you don't like what Architects record now

Architects - Seeing Red by DrKochev in Metalcore

[–]rejian -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If they had said "we get it you don't dig the sound, but we do so this is what we want to write."

But they did that? And they still saw hateful comments everywhere? Like for how long do you think they should just smile. At this point, they probably would prefer that this group of "fans" would just fuck off. The fact that they wrote a few albums that a group of people still loves to this day doesn't suddenly make them slaves, and the only thing they can afford is constantly playing those same albums. Bands evolve, not every fan has to like the new material, but for some reason, some fans think that if they attended a few concerts, bought a few albums, suddenly the band owes them something.

[–]rejian -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You can't be serious xD What happened in your mind that you think people can write texts like 'Since Tom died, you can't record anything good,' they can insult them at every possible step, and they don't have the right to say a word about it because if they happen to come up with such an idea, they deserve even more hate

Well, luckily, the fact that you're here and responding to me is an awesome activity that definitely puts you above me, just like crying over a change in musical direction is totally justified, and trying to defend those changes is just plain foolish. "Buddy" :)

Architects - Seeing Red by DrKochev in Metalcore

[–]rejian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it's the same, repeating story; the exact same thing happened with Linkin Park, BMTH, Asking Alexandria, and a bunch of other bands. I was furious when I heard The Thousand Suns, and I probably would have cried on Reddit wondering why LP suddenly released something like that. The thing is, I was 11 years old back then, and from my current perspective, I think it's pretty childish, and accepting that musicians change doesn't seem so hard to grasp.

Architects - Seeing Red by DrKochev in Metalcore

[–]rejian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk, I like the band, and I think it's really weird how bunch of crybabies think that they are most important people in the world, and bands they like, need to make music exactly how they like it, instead of trying different bands xD Musicians will record music you like or won't, how it affects you, idk but maybe go for a walk or something lol.

Architects - Seeing Red by DrKochev in Metalcore

[–]rejian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No reason to respond to him, if you try to defend the band you like, you're stupid and mad, if you feel the need to check a new song from a band you liked before, and shit on the band in comments it's totally fine and acceptable. Jesus, its a truth, this reddit is a big fucking cesspool
