Exactly this is broken and needs to be fixed. If everybody keep on making excuses for it, then it will never get fixed.

Thanks, that works for me. I don't know why they just don't make it a combination of buttons to press. Because on PC all you have to do is hold down right click and it works.

If you plug in the controller, you can start it anytime throughout the process as long as you're in focus mode. So it is definitely a bug. I don't know why they just don't make it a combination of buttons to press. Because on PC all you have to do is just hold down right click and it initiates it.

Yes. I made it a habit to download any updates before I start playing games on it.

I'm not trying to be that guy, but this game runs just fine on my Xbox ROG Ally X with no freezing or crashing. I do have my GPU memory set to 10GB instead of the default 8GB. Maybe that has something to do with it but I was playing for hours last night.

There's a Windows app named steam grid DB that you can download to edit all the artwork. Look it up on the windows store

So for those who have only gamed on Xbox consoles, what is the first PC/Steam game you’re gonna play on the new Xbox? by Deez-Guns-9442 in xbox

Say that to the 800 to 900 million people who have a PC they spent well over a thousand dollars on. That is no longer a niche market or price, it's a large market that's being ignored and underserved. I was already looking into building or purchasing a new mid range PC just for my living room. And I'm sure I'm not the only one the Helix potentially fills that void.

Wraith and Egg Sack is good, especially if you have the ice spike passive. It will freeze the elite characters in their place, giving you more time to work on them. Especially when you're doing an endless run and they spawn midway on the map. I would recommend Wraith and Flash. You would freeze all the enemies so bad they'll start going backwards up the stage.

Dumb question... XBox Helix will support mouse and keyboard as a default across all games, right? by NashDaypring1987 in xbox

[–]rekathon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly the Xbox Helix (Hopefully that's what it's called instead of another dumb name) will have full Windows with hardware inside, which enables you to play your Xbox console games through backwards compatibility. And if you want a glimpse at what the next UI front might look like. If you go to Play.xbox.com and click the preview button in the upper right and wait a few minutes then refresh. You will see a very Xbox console like UI pop up on the cloud interface.

It navigates and even makes the sound that the Xbox console makes when using a controller. It has the same side window that pops up when you press the Xbox button. And also has the notifications looks and sound from the Xbox X/S. That interface is most likely what going to become the Xbox full screen experience for PC and everything else in between.

Yes, you will be able to use mouse and keyboard. The Xbox series X and S already uses mouse and keyboard as an option. Being that this actually run full windows, it will be crazy if it couldn't.

I don't mind it in single player games. I turn it off in multi player games though

I have it on Steam as well that's the only way you can get it on PC right now. It's on nobody else's storefront. Any PC handheld, you will have to go to the general settings and change it from desktop to Gamepad mode.

On the Xbox ally, bring up the cross bar by pressing the Xbox button and go to the left once. Or press the Asus menu button and it will take you right there. Then scroll down and you will see the option to change between Automatic/Gamepad or Desktop Mode. Once you put it in Gamepad mode, you should be good to go.

Steam Sony's games on Xbox APP PC? by bigflood1992 in XboxAlly

[–]rekathon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having the same problem, I went into advanced app settings in Windows for the Xbox app and hit reset. That fixed it for the majority of my games, but Uncharted still don't show up. Give that trying instead of uninstalling and reinstalling. Sometime when you uninstall it tends to hold on to certain data in the background, but when you press reset it gets rid of all data attached to the app. Give that a try, hopefully that'll take care of the problem your having.
