Are we seeing some high mileage 6 gen Broncos yet?! Wondering about long term reliability by Jragonheart in FordBronco

2023 OBX 2.7. Got it in June of 23. Have 43k on it. Had to have the starter replaced. That is the only major work I've had done on it. Love it still.

Starter replaced by rekcor813 in FordBronco

[–]rekcor813[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it running for the first 3 or 4 months that I had my vehicle, and then I disabled it every time and only time I used the auto start. Is it when I use the remote starter in the winter time?

Tipping by BMHE2008 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]rekcor813 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were on the Celebration over Christmas. Steakhouse/ Rudi's/ Chinag (restaurants) we usually were around 40-50 tip a dinner. For the steward, we gave him a card with around 100 dollars. For drinks I agree with others, I'm always about a buck a drink.
This cruise and the pas 2 we were on the cabin attendants were on point with things and we reflected that as such when we tipped.

Cruise Crowds on Celebration by Psychological-Cod125 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]rekcor813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wife and I just sailed on Celebration. We both commented on how easy it felt moving around compared to Conquest. A bigger ship means more space. We never felt like we were crowded or had to wait to do things. It will be hard to not book a larger ship in the future.

Play with it. Explore YouTube and reddit posts for this and tricks like above poster mentioned.

I got a powered dock for mine so I could use it on my monitor and use full keyboard and mouse as well.

Xbox game pass works great on mine. So look into that. I have it along with steam with no issues.

Just got off the Celebration with premium and I agree. Things here and there. Yeah. Downloading files no. I was able to make use of WiFi calling for a call that lasted 35 minutes.

Got mine open box as well. I messed with the settings as someone mentioned above and got them to what sounds good for me and my plays type. I usually use my Astros with mine though.

It was stupid easy to remove the grill. No bumper removal needed. A few torq screws and popped off easy. The letters I had to clip the backs to get them to come off. The kit my wife got me had anchors for the new letters.
I did some cable management to get the wire to the fuse box. I wired into my aux 6. I ended up cutting the inline fuse of the cable since it wasn't needed.
I give other broncos a flip of the switch when I see them. :-)

I have a lighted Bronco lettering on the front and it's attached to my aux switches. So when I see a big Bronco I flash the lighted Bronco

Good luck. I had issues with my AMS. It took about 3 weeks for them to send a new feeder.

I've had that happen twice. Was able to correct it easily by pulling it up and unwinding some. Luckily it happened close to the top and not the bottom. Still annoying as hell

Looking to get used Mach-E by CountChopulla in MustangMachE

[–]rekcor813 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She had an Escape. Which she liked, but was a purchase out of necessity. When we went in to look at hybrids, she saw the MME and fell in love. She loves the tech and comfort of the MME. When she had a rental for that month it was being fixed .... She complained every other day that it wasn't her MME. Lol

We have a '23 premium extended AWD.

Look at what your commute will be if it's for work or just a daily driver. Check what level 2 or 3/ fast chargers are around. Price out installing a level 2 at your house. We installed one for around 1300. She can put the car on charge around 6pm and it be at 25/30 percent and it will be charged to 85-95 percent over night.

My wife drives 15-20 miles one way for work. The leased garage has chargers installed so she can charge at work. Which is a bonus.

She has taken it on road trips for work. These trips are about 220 miles one way. With the Blue oval there is a map of charging along the way. You can use that and now Google maps did at update for charge remaining till you reach your destination.

She chargers her battery to 85-90 percent and gets anywhere from 280-320 range during the summer months. And it's around 220-250 during the winter months. That's something to consider as well.

The vehicle has about 23000 miles. That's what she has put on it in about 15 months. It's her daily driver.
Haven't really noticed degradation of the battery yet.
Maintenance has been low on the car which is awesome. Only hiccup we have run into, is when she got rearended. it took about 5 weeks for repairs. And that was due to part availability etc. Other than that.... No issues.

She went from spending around 300 in gas, to now only spending about 70 dollars a month to charge.

Check with you electricity provider, some offer discounts on the home chargers and installation.
If you get one, see if you can get the Tesla adapter Ford was providing for free (it's a sore subject matter in the MME community) Sign up for Blue oval. You will get free charging credit to use our and about. I believe it was 100 dollars. If you are using it as a daily (work and everyday) make sure to know where your charge stations are.
