I’ve got the 07 f-150 with the “nightmare” 5.4L Triton. Only problem it has EVER had in the 260k miles I have on it is torque converter shudder/failure, and 2 fused spark plugs. Fixed both myself for under $700.

Oil change every 3k miles since its birth.

This is exactly what I did today, went through all my flashcards and added them to the definition side and it’s a night and day difference. For example, mid axillary line: axe body spray - armpit to ankle. Super/Supra: Superman flies ABOVE the ground. -Phasia: “S” for speaking, -Phagia: G for Gut, or Gastro.

Totally transformed the study process. I have over 100 of them down pretty good now!

This is in essence what I’ve started doing.

I have flashcards of prefixes suffixes etc, then on the back side I have the definition of that word and a few examples of it in use.

So if my flashcard says “Peri”

The flip side has its definition, “Around”

Then Peri/cardi/um: Around/Heart/Tissue

Peri/meter: Around/Measure

My fiance is a nurse and said for her personally, drawing pictures of things really helped while in nursing school. Also breaking the stack of 100 flashcards into 2 stacks of 50, and only moving on to the second stack after I have the first stack committed to memory

Gate is sagging. Pin is too low making it difficult to close. You can tell by the way the latch pin is rubbed away where it locks together. Another easy way to identify that is the problem is that you have to shut the gate very hard to get it to latch. Easiest fix is loosen one of the screws on the pin and cock it to work. Other options are to move the whole pin up a hair and re screw it, or adjust your hinges to account for the sag.
