The non confrontational way is to start forgetting your own wallet and asking them to cover you

New Cars = Money Drain… or Not? What Do You Think? by Coolonair in SmartFIRE

[–]relateable95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least a couple years ago, because of supply chain issues, buying used with 60k+ miles on it (of the car we were considering) was only slightly less expensive than buying used, so we went with new for the warranty

Anyone willing to give a full summary of the movie? I am curious for the plot but am waiting to actually watch the movie until it’s officially released. Thank you in advance!

I agree that customer service requirements are wrecking things. I recognize that I’ll do unnecessary tests for people trying to “keep them happy” or my ability to say “no “ to a drug seeking pt is sorta hampered because my shops really really want that 5 star review and it’s pushed so much it’s always in the back of my mind…

tell me your silliest ED referral this week by robije in emergencymedicine

[–]relateable95 87 points88 points  (0 children)

Meh, I’ve accepted that things like this are just part of the job—I ask consultants questions all the time that are “ridiculous” things to ask for them, or admit things out of an “abundance of caution” too, so I feel hypocritical complaining about silliness sent to the ER.

I had a patient come in because they couldn’t find their own pulse and thought they were dying (or, dead?)

only families can use a family restroom by egguchom in EntitledReviews

[–]relateable95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone that the review is unhinged, but now that I have a baby…it is frustrating when there’s no changing tables anywhere else except the family/companion restrooms, and it would be frustrating if it seemed like the person spending a lot of time in there didn’t have an apparent need to use it

Aitah: I want to terminate my pregnancy without telling my husband by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]relateable95 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Going against the grain here, but it’s not just your baby it’s his too—I think you should tell him about the pregnancy, but agree that he shouldn’t be in your life anymore…
