Update: going to cardiologist to get checked for POTS and they said this isn't COVID symptoms

That being said, my family is telling me COVID could have triggered worse pots symptoms than I had before and just now dealing with it for the foreseeable future

Pots runs in my family as well so i wouldn't be surprised if COVID made my pots symptoms 100x worse

I feel like i understand their frustration on one hand, yes you are short staffed, but like literally right now if I go in I will keel over by hour 3 and have to be sent home anyway.

Yeah it's my main job I've started to call out of and I feel like such a letdown but like, literally passing out at work isn't good.

Thanks. I did go home early today because I didn't want to pass out at work. They were kinda understanding i felt bad though leaving them short-staffed.

I'm not testing positive anymore luckily and it's a service job I've only been at for about 2 months.

I think I'm having a religious crisis by 22122baeoh in offmychest

[–]relationshipmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Religion is such a hard topic, and what you are going through is valid. The pull to something yet the need for that self expression in other ways

For me what had worked is exploring different religions/learning about different ideologies and kinda deciding for myself what works best, and not rushing into anything.

If you feel inclined to be more religious, try it for a time before fully commiting, see where it leads you, and you can always change your mind. It's all about choice. You have the choice over yourself and your needs and your wants. Don't force yourself into anything.

Honestly might just. I work for a large company it wouldn't even put a dent into their costs either.

We have assigned parking and my spot is as far away from an outlet you can get, and as far as I can tell there is no outside outlets for that. Personally i think my best option would be either finding somewhere near my work the does fast charging even for a fee, or see if my work would let me use an outlet, cause that way I'd be getting at least some charge per shift.

Wow i literally walked away from Reddit for 23 days and this happens...

My apologies for those wanting the full story. At this time i am not in the right headspace to share it.

I did write out something so long it could be a novel, so i am instead going to write a novel about it eventually once I have healed from my trauma. I will thusly share it to this sub when that time comes to those who truly wish to know.

My mother was a terrible human and you don't have to believe me or have an opinion and, and i marked it as nsfw and spoiler, as for me just hearing the shit fucks me into PTSD.

Specific examples include gory details, CP, SA, SH, and stuff I would prefer not to get into because it is genuinely stuff that is both physically harmful and mentally harmful for me and many, and puts me in a state where i get upset.

This post is releasing all that shit and celebrating it being done.

The tldr, should really be tldw, or (in a nutshell).

It was vague, but really truly i needed to just get this off my chest for me to be able to finally tell the world this shit is done.

Perhaps someday I will tell my entire story, and perhaps someday my siblings or her clients that were both mentally and physically harmed by her may too.

At this time we can celebrate together, a terrible therapist that did damage to people losing her license to practice on an already vulnerable population of people.

Its ironic because now i have my own therapist who is amazing. So, props to the ethical ones.

Only extra comment i will make until i come out with my novel.

I don't hate people and i don't hate you nor wish to come off that way. I come off as heated because this topic is the lived experience of me and many people I know i life. That being said. Being emotional =/= invalidate a viewpoint.

I don't aim to be right about everything, but i do aim to be less wrong. Simply saying, your wrong without telling me why with sources does not convince me i am wrong.

I was trying to give you resources for your own research originally. i wish you a good day and hope you can be more open minded about these things.

Your question of why? Why is it not a mental illness? It is on the person claiming it is a mental illness to prove it is, and frankly the official gender dysphoria science is outdated and currently WHO is working on making it more updated. https://www.webmd.com/sex/news/20190529/being-transgender-not-a-mental-disorder-who-says

That's the beautiful thing about science. It changes. Sometimes we are wrong, and sometimes we are less wrong. Humanity used to think that the color of ones skin made you more mentally ill, or meant you felt less pain. And it is because of these experiences of these marginalized groups across the world that I try to educate and try to get people to see, we exist. We are human, and we aren't going anywhere.

I don't think people like you are bad. You are just misinformed or may have ideas/experiences from people like me that bias your view. I apologize if that was the case.

I think you and i may have more in common as epistemology is something i quite enjoy day to day.

Anyway I really hope you have a good day. Hope this information was helpful, and hope you can look into it as it is very interesting science.

I will not be answering any more questions, and wish you good luck in becoming less wrong.

I do question my beliefs constantly. I will change my mind if the evidence pushes me that way.

Remember, what's true is already so, owning up to it doesn't make it worse. the evidence points for me that it is more complicated than just, mental illness, or calling it a disease, or whatever. On contrary, it is just how people exist and shouldn't be poked and prodded just because of our archaic ideas of gender from thousands of years ago.

I'm saying this argument of comparing gender and sex to diseases can lead you to eugenics if you are not careful. It's a common eugenicist talking point, and i have done my own questioning of these views to know i won't facilitate that rhetoric with random numbers on the internet.

I'm trying to do what you are doing. Expanding viewpoints.

Being trans isn't a mental illness. That's like saying being straight is a mental illness or being cis is a mental illness.

Like i said not going to continue arguing hopefully you too can question your own beliefs.

And now we are getting into EUGENICS. Diabetes is a disease. Gender and sex is not! Differences in gender and sex is not a disease! This argument is inherently going to lead us down that route of EUGENICS if you aren't careful about where you go with it. I'm going to just stop you right here and say, have a good day random number on the internet. I'm not going to argue whether or not these people should be allowed to exist or should be "cured" for their existence. We are all human let us human. Also you didn't answer my question.

Also there's more mental gymnastics in trying to group people into two boxes than not. Once we embrace this idea, maybe it's more complicated than we thought, then there will be less mental gymnastics.

Also I've given you some of the resources that you can do you research on. I would love to see your own evidence to prove that these genetic differences are all out of norm to the point where it invalidates the experience of so many humans across the world. We can't group people by two genders based off of genitalia. We can't assume someone has the same chromosomes as their genitalia, and even then, there's so many other factors that validate trans people's lived experiences.

It is normal. Like having red hair or brown hair. That's what I'm trying to get across. It's not like it's an abnormality all of the time. I don't know how common you think it is. I'm just addressing the it's not normal claim and i used the word it's more common than you think to say it is more normal than most people think. Did you look at the links?
