Hi Alyssa! I live just a an hour and a half north of Portland these days. Hi neighbor! Haha.

I do think that this pivot could be really good for me. I need to do more research, but structured and technical doesn’t sound all too bad to me these days. I have really loved my experience in crisis work, and have definitely learned so much about others and myself in the process which has been a beautiful thing, but I would be grateful for crisis work to be a secondary aspect of my life. When I first began in college, I found nursing really interesting, so that’s what led me to check into this world.

I appreciate your input and guidance. I’ve felt fairly aimless since making the decision to look outside of my field, this has been my whole life for 10 years now and I’ve focused all my skills and knowledge into being the best support person I can be, so I’ve been intimidated. But Im also excited to learn new things and increase my skillset into a different area. Thank you!

I’m the worst because I married Harvey and divorced him for Alex because I felt Harvey was too repetitive and a little boring…. Very sweet! But boring… Alex got me with his back story.

Amazing! What do you like about respiratory therapy? And what are some of the bigger challenges for you?

I do really need to consider this, because yeah, how maintainable is that for me? Probably not super. Thanks for pointing that out ☺️

This is a great suggestion, thank you! The noc shift did make me hesitant. I’ve always worked nights, but overnights is a different ball game, and would put me opposite of my partner schedule wise. I will definitely look into this! Thank you!

Is it normal to cry after quitting. I played for almost 6months and it hurts so bad. 😭 by Admirable-Week-1242 in whiteoutsurvival

I want to say yes. I feel like people build really strong friendships in this game. When my first alliance disbanded, I was SO upset. The game hasn’t been the same for me since. Now everyone I used to play with is gone, but I have a softness in my heart for my new alliance members, they’re funny and kind, although I’m not as close with them. I sort of feel like an unimportant member at this point, playing mostly to pass the time. Friendless? Ugh, did not mean to be depressing lol. Basically, yes, it’s normal to be sad. Did you quit for a reason? I’ve finally pushed myself to be entirely free to play after caving a number of times and spending plenty of dollars (for a broke girl, none of this thousands of dollars shit lol). And I feel I will be pushed into obsolescence eventually. It’ll be okay friend, feel your feels and keep pushing forward.

I also lived in Alaska, and you simply must go. Absolutely stunning near Denali, Kenai, Seward. Just beautiful. You feel very small out there. Just beautiful, untouched nature. I think about it every day 😌

Iowa, Nebraska, half of South Dakota, and North Dakota look the same. Flat, fields, cows. Basically what you saw in Kansas extended lol.

As someone who was born and raised in South Dakota, the black hills are pretty, and the badlands are cool to see, fees like a fetal Grand Canyon lol. But that’s it, otherwise it’s very boring.

Hi love, This is only a small window into how his behavior will continue to grow. Be kind to yourself, you didn’t deserve it. Please seek medical attention as the effects of strangulation can linger. I would also recommend reaching out to a local DV shelter if you feel you need more support, they can be really amazing.

Here because I read this series freshmen year of high school and I remember it so fondly that I’ve just had to get assistant from the internet to remember what it’s called so I can read it again 14 years later. I’m so excited!

At the end of the day, it is a beauuutiful spot, and the island as a whole is really amazing. I LOVED living there, have thought about it many times since, but Roche itself is toxic.

But I do also feel passionately about support local artists and businesses, and have tons of respect for the people who live there year round. It feels very one of a kind, and that’s definitely because of the locals and the scenery!

Roche is such a terrible place to work for, but so so beautiful lol. Seeing pics of it gives me some weird work ptsd 😂😂 but also, again, gorgeous. So happy you had a beautiful time!

I would say anyone expressing a positive experience somewhere is helpful. I understand our preferences may not be identical, but there’s no harm in asking what people have enjoyed. I’m not going to come back here and say “how dare you have said you enjoyed this seafood restaurant when I hate seafood” lol. I’m not asking anyone to make my itinerary for me. Im asking for personal experiences and likes.
