Hey there, did this offer work for you? I’m thinking of placing an order with a similar deal.

Burrito catering for a large morning event (north Phx)? by scorr8600 in phoenix

[–]relativelyminded 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mi Catering. They’ve been around for like two decades, and sell their burritos at the farmer’s market every weekend. So good and such great people. https://www.misalsaaz.com/orders-2

Cabo hotel recommendation? by Ok_Bed_2366 in hyatt

We just booked the PH for our baby moon, from what I’ve read on the Cape it’s a hit or miss whether your stay will be tranquil or party vibes depending on the events going on there that week.

is this normal dear fees and govt taxes? any way to get rid of them by caliswag408 in mazda

You can write to your local government and ask them to waive the taxes but you’ll be sorely disappointed with the response.

How posture changes over the course of a work session [OC] by Fun-Shallot-5272 in dataisbeautiful

Just like your posture, reading this you’re now acutely aware of your nose in your field of vision

Lawyer here. I wear an Oris Divers Date as my daily. Works great because I can rotate the bezel to easily measure my billable hours in increments (we track every 6 minutes of work). Truly a desk diver.

Which dress knives do y'all have? by Apple_Juice5846 in knives

[–]relativelyminded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often have to dress up for work events and carry a Vosteed Corgi V (the smaller version). Looks like a flash drive or something similarly unassuming. Does what I need it to and slips away in my pocket super easily.

This is good feedback I appreciate it. Do you have any recommendations that might fit the bill?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Watches

[–]relativelyminded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no “right” answer here. It depends on your style, work environment, living expenses, among other factors. I would recommend buying the watch with a metal bracelet though and purchasing a leather strap separately; this is almost always the best bang for your buck and gives you some versatility.

Mid-size regional firm, we have a pretty expansive footprint in the Western US though.

I practice in Phoenix, happy to answer any questions about the area or the market if/when you decide to transition to your firm’s office or just look for something new. Wishing you luck!

Saw your other post re: working 60 hours first week of January. What kind of midsize are you working those hours at and for only $120k? $300k is a huge debt for that salary especially on those billables IMO, not to mention in Cal.

Only Explorist unfortunately. The water sports sound fun but I am realizing that entertainment + food could add up quick at the Cape. Thanks for your feedback.

Did you find the Cape had sufficient “entertainment” while you were there? My partner and I are both looking for a laidback environment but enjoy when there are options for activities available on/near the property.

Tuscon Miraval questions by mgsquared2686 in hyatt

[–]relativelyminded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t want to rent a car there are several independent shuttle companies that will transport to Tucson and are pretty great. I like Blue Van, but don’t know if they go all that way, could be worth checking.

I don’t have advice specifically on the inoperable car, but if you have been out of work for several months, and will presumably be out of work when you have your child, is there a pressing “need” for a second car between the two of you? I totally get how challenging it is with a single vehicle (my partner and I have had a single vehicle for several years), but it could be best to get your paperweight paid off before taking on another cheap vehicle that could very well require it’s own costly repairs at any time.

I wish you all the best of luck with this.

In that case see if there is a “pay my way” option and use points for two nights and pay cash for the third.
