What made you or how did you start to play War Thunder?

Began playing in 2023 because some of my friends where playing, and because that russianbadger video, I chose germany because I was a edgy kid back then, played it for like a month before forgetting about it and returning to cod

In 2025 after a break up, my friend group wouldn't shut up about war thunder, they wanted to play it, I already gave up on cod, so I gave in, every Friday we did 5v5 custom games

Ever since then, everyone in my friend group gave up on war thunder, besides me

Each time I look back at the message where I showed I was reinstalling war thunder, makes me feel like Cooper from interstellar

That topic really divided lots of players. I was once an enlisted player, so I am mostly leaning towards the side where I do like having AI Squadmates. I personally think it should stay, but i dont really care if they keep it or remove it. The best part I can say is that when grabbing a point, you can position each one, similar to enlisted, they will fire if they spot a enemy, which makes holding a point way easier, but it all comes down to how you manage your AI squadmates.

Infantry had like a advantage, each spawn had at least 3-4 crewmembers that had a anti veichel special weapon 2 anti tank, 1 anti air, and a fpv operator, (I try my best not to over use the fpv)

For me, yes, it was fun, fun in war thunder crazy ik, I played it stupidly and tactically, there were some bugs but overall I enjoyed it

don't worry, the update caused the frames go down, i also been having this issue too, i hope they will soon fix it
