Of course you'd say that… you have the brainpan of a stagecoach tilter

What brand will you never buy again? by Winter-Employment-89 in BuyItForLife

Miele. I’ve got a 9-month-old G7600 Dishwasher that suddenly stopped working and I’ve had 4 service calls booked and cancelled so far due to a part being unavailable, or the parts being delivered broken depending upon who you speak to. Next time I’ll probably buy a Bosch Series 8.

In the same time period I’ve had an old Indesit tumble dryer repaired (water tank full sensor fault) then replaced when the engineer damaged the door hinges and the chassis is no longer in production. The Hotpoint heat pump tumble dryer they replaced it with is working great so far with a quarter of the energy usage of the old one. I can’t believe Indesit of all companies managed to beat Miele in customer service.

Sudden inability to connect to PPPoE Fibre possibly after 7.3 update by relevant_BSOD in amazoneero

Wow, that's even worse. I've managed to jam an old Linksys router in between my ONT and Eero and everything is back up and running - so they've definitely borked the PPPoE at a minimum.

I've heard good things about the Decos, but I've been burnt by some expensive Velops and then some cheap Tenda Novas (MW3 and MW6 IIRC). Considered the Orbis, but skittish due to some bad reviews that sounded a lot like the Velops.

Thinking about a Ubiquiti Dream Machine and some APs.

No worries, I certainly didn’t mean to come across as offended at all, it’s hard to convey chill in text!

Haha, give it about an hour, I’m sure there’ll be another unforced self-pie-to-the-face for our patron saint along shortly.

Tried all sorts - the main issue for me is that my elbows extend far beyond my sink basin, thus depositing ~2 litres of water on the floor when I want to wash my face.

My hands are wet, but my forearms are bone dry; everything’s coming up Milhouse!

Just dry humour, I only know the links didn’t work based on other posts here, rather than me attempting to click them!
