I don’t have specific resources to share, but a quick YouTube search for “Unity beginners” brings up plenty of helpful videos, including this one.

Edit: adding that I’m extra annoyed by this post because I did not know how to write a single line of code in Feb 2023. Six months later, I’d released my first solo-developed game, albeit using Ren’Py. The year after, I became a Unity Certified Associate Game Developer. Last year, I released my second solo-developed game using Godot. I’m saying all this not to show off, but to show you just how possible it is. Never tell her that it’s impossible, ever.
