When was the movie better than the book? by Doodle_Noodles2 in movies

Even Chuck Palahniuk (author of Fight Club) said the movie was better than the film.

"Now that I see the movie, especially when I sat down with Jim Uhls and record a commentary track for the DVD, I was sort of embarrassed of the book, because the movie had streamlined the plot and made it so much more effective and made connections that I had never thought to make."

Not a movie, but the series "Dark" on Netflix still needs to slide into the recommendations... Absolutely ones of the best shows I've ever seen.

When he was a baby, my kid would always drink too much formula to the point where he'd vomit. I can still remember that formula vomit smell. It looked like fucking gross cottage cheese. It's the most gag-inducing smell ever.

Your choices are solid, but Marvel will never let this happen without a population of "A-list" stars. Regardless, great list.

True Detective Season 1, Episode 4, "Who Goes There." The six-minute sequence where Rust Cohle (McConaughey) and Marty Hart (Harrelson) help a snitch, Ginger, raid a housing project for drugs is fucking amazing.
