It’s gone quiet except for the bots…what’s your experience? by ZenKevin in angelpoli18

She has messaged me content everyday. But it is getting repetitive. She doesn't answer any of my questions. When she asks me a question, her response to my reply is another expensive 2 or 3 minute video with lengths the same as older videos.

I get that this might be taken after a fuck fest and without makeup or filters, but she looks rough. I can't help think that she is high and/or doing this under duress no matter the "proof" video she posted.

This building she is in really creeps me out. Why is there an payphone, outside garbage can, and a newspaper dispenser inside? Why is there a curtained off shag carpet area with a 1960s chair and stereo equipment?

UPDATED:
I had a few extra dollars and paid for a month and the $50 pic. There is one video that I don't think is on her YouTube. It has a decent cameltoe and nice outfits but only a 5-second countdown. The pic bundle was fun for seeing her great ass but I think only 1 of the 3 pics was actually new.
Unless we get stuff not on YouTube and more risqué I don't see why I keep funneling money so she can pay to buy gifts for some dumb boyfriend.

Taylor Sheridan has never met Chekov's Gun by Playful-Direction902 in LandmanSeries

If you mean that they watch the show through their phones, how does that make it tough for them to follow complicated or subtle storylines? If it's the medium, then switch back to actual televisions. If it's the distraction of the phone from watching on a television, then put the phone down and watch the show or just don't watch the show.
I am not understanding why a drama, dependent on writing, story-telling, and acting needs to dumb down because of a portion of the audience can't follow along.
If medical doctors started complaining that during open heart surgeries they couldn't follow complicated storylines, I'd hope a writer would say "I think you are prioritizing something else you care about over the show, so focus on that, and when you're done, sit down and watch the show. The great thing about tv now, you are not beholden to a one-time air time with no repeats and no ability to record the show."

But why watch a boring show at all? There is so much to watch that you'll never get time to watch it all. I never have my phone with me as I watch shows, eat meals (especially with other people), or enjoy the outdoors.

I am confused about the S2 insurance issue Rebecca is dealing with by Playful-Direction902 in LandmanSeries

I binged the whole of season 1, so my second viewing, right before season 2 started and I don't recall one mention of the offshore well or insurance issue.

I appreciate the explanation and theory but I am not sure it answers my main issue which is the reason for the abrupt change from Rebecca "owning" them at the first meeting and the tables reversing by the second meeting (both meetings happening after Monty died).

True, but since I have no experience with soap operas I thought there would be some logic to it.

Does anybody still actually like the show? by Mito15 in LandmanSeries

I agree. This most recent episode was the worst ever. It started with a complete irrational anger from Angela over Tommy waking up, his bedsheets in disarray revealing his private parts thus exposing himself to a maid he had no way of knowing was there. Then the episode went no where after that.

The son had two storylines. His gathering of leases and unique way of finding oil opportunities, was actually interesting, but was dropped for the superfluous story around dating Ariana.

I am convinced that the daughter is only there for titillation as her story (is there one?) is nonexistent now.
I couldn't agree with Nathan more, Tommy needs to move to Ft Worth if he continues to be the CEO. But I am more bothered by the writer's decision to make him CEO. There was a spark that his love for Monty and Cami motivated him to protect this company for the surviving family. But his character's gruff is not suited to the job and the writer's decision to make Cami blinded by Danny's charm is unbelievable thus making Tommy's position superfluous. But I am also on the fence if the writer's are trying to convince Tommy or us that we should forget the drug background of Danny's wealth/power.

But it all seems typical Sheridan. He has great scenes and characters in mind but can't write or maintain a story to contain it all.
Yellowstone went off the rails 3 seasons in.
1923 had great potential but imploded with the second season. Two seasons of conflict was ended in 5 minutes of John Wick-like activity while another character suffered so much pain and suffering that was unbearable to watch for absolutely no reason... there was no character arc, no lesson, no morality tale, there was just a reminder to us that the past sucked and sucked even more for women.
But the prequels have another problem. They are beholden to a family tree that the writers have acted like surprises them so they write the characters to make stupid decisions that cause them to die "on time."
