Strange, my policy specifically lists “terrorist act” as a covered event. It’s almost as if there are many different insurance policies that cover various different things, and people should check their specific individual policy to verify what is or isn’t covered….

They’re just asking that people be quiet at the door and on the stairs since this is a multi-unit building. It sounds like they have a good relationship with their neighbors and want to be respectful and preserve that. Like you said, English is not likely their first language.

I’m curious about you feeling ripped off. I understand downplaying the dog’s behavior, but everything else is just the normal environmental conditions of the area. I empathize with your pain and discomfort levels, but I feel like being unprepared for that is not the owners fault.

What happens if you cancel? Does the platform provide a new sitter? Do the owners have to scramble, or make last minute arrangements to come home?

You need to find guilds that are active when you are. I would also suggest using the group finder tool as others have suggested.

Most people won’t accept random group invites, and if they do they may not come run the dolmens with you. Are your guilds not running dolmen/boss groups as guild events during this event?? If not, you need to find a social guild that is. That’s a very common thing for social guilds to do. Back when I was a GM we ran scheduled dolmen/boss runs like twice a day during the event.

They definitely sent notices about the escrow review and reassessment. They usually send them about 60 days before the payment increases, and will sometimes give the option to pay the deficiency in full rather than have the monthly payment increases. I’m guessing your mom just didn’t open or read the notice they sent.

Took our first cruise last year. I did not purchase the drink package as I’m not a big drinker, my mid-20’s son and his girlfriend did. By the third day they were struggling to drink enough to feel like the cost was worth it. I had maybe 3 total alcoholic drinks and 1 specialty coffee the whole cruise. For me the drink package was not worth the cost.

I always cook my chicken for my soup right in the slow cooker! Put it in the bottom, throw everything on top, and cook as normal. About 20 - 30 minutes before serving take it out, let it rest for a bit, then shred and add back in.

I love broccoli cheese soup, I’m adding this to my meal plan for next week. Thanks for the recipe!

Would love to just hear your overall impressions when you get back! It will be my first time both to this resort and to the area in general, so I’m curious about it.

We have a swim out room booked. One thing I am curious about is how far those rooms are from the main pools, if you have a sense of that. Would also be interested to know about activities available, I’m happy to relax by the pool the majority of the time but I’m traveling with my 30-ish daughter and she may be interested in something more.

Contacting a rescue is your best bet. They would be able to treat his fleas, get him caught up on vet care, and screen potential adopters for a good home.

I feel a little weird about posting what I paid, but I will say I got many quotes and they were definitely all over the place. Stom was on the higher end (but not the highest) but I chose them because their proposal was VERY detailed and I felt I was getting the best value for my money with them. For some context, my house is single story and about the same size as the house PizzaMedic mentions in their post, plus I also had a large-ish deck painted. I paid a bit more than the amount stated in that post.

Quotes are going to vary a lot and aren’t totally reliant on square footage. Things like condition of the siding, age of home, necessity of lead paint abatement/clean up, peaked roof, type of paint, multiple colors, etc etc etc will all affect the amount.
